Hotel Lawrence

I arrived in the Hotel Lawrence at around 3 am. The Hotel Lawrence welcome us in a very good manner and quickly enough so that we can have good sleep. Though the breakfast was a buffet, we ordered in the Hotel Lawrence room itself the day after, as we were very tired. The Hotel Lawrence staff are very good, specially the service part. The location was awesome, just in front of the street. It was a very big room, quite bigger than we expected. The only thing, I would like to put fingers on, is the cost of the foods available in the menu card. It's too much, compared to the lodging cost. The cost of a Plain Rice dish is Rs. 195. Well, that's too much, as far as I think. But, apart from only this point, We had a wonderful experience. As our train was on 6:40 pm, they allowed us to stay inside the Hotel Lawrence almost till 1:45 pm, which is over than the check-out time. That's really appreciable. If I visit Amritsar again, I would like to prefer this Hotel Lawrence next time.

The location of the Hotel Lawrence is good and so is the service. The rooms are spacious and clean with everything you could ask for at this price. The staff is courteous and cooperative. Everything is just a stone's throw away from here. Good restaurants around and lots to shop too. Being a pure vegetarian, I did not try any of their dishes except coffee, as I don't eat where both veg and non-veg are served. Rest assured, you would not regret staying there. It was an enjoyable experience for me. Thank you Lawrence Hotel staff.

Came with 02 families. Stay was best anybody could seek. Clean rooms/bathrooms with all basic amenities Hotel Lawrence staff very cordial specially reception desk. Food served in restaurant is top class. 24hrs warm water available. Room too is very spacious. Room service excellent. Overall I would rate it as excellent. Thanks MMT great experience. The Hotel is good but the service could have been better. Towel was missing in the bathroom and we had to call the room service twice to get Bath towels. House keepers are slow. When asked for a bottle of water, the house keeper was telling about the price of the bottle before delivering the bottle, however its a well known fact that anything not included in the package is chargeable.

A very nice property, located in the middle of the market has all the amenities nearby. Good room size, location and decently priced. What else could one hope for? Quick room service and cleanliness maintained Hotel Lawrence.
Room was very good in size and service was great. Overall I would always want to stay in this Hotel Lawrence due to its location and cleanliness.

Rooms are spacious. Staff is very helpful. They also provide very good transport facility for sight seeing. 3.5 km from Golden temple.
Noise of TV from adjacent room till very late night ,though problem was rectified after complain. But still room sound proofing required. Otherwise stay and staff were very nice.

Very happy seeing the room space and cleanliness. Not a tall happy seeing the facilities given by the team there. We asked for a coffee and milk powder and team is confusion who should deliver it either 21 number or 22 ( Dial in) due to which we waited almost 5-6 hrs to get the pouches. Not a tall acceptable.

Nice and clean rooms, prime location just 2. 5 km from shri darbar sahib . Cooperative staff, good parking facility overall value for money experience, but should provide bathroom slippers

Best part of the Hotel Lawrence is it's locality with some amazing restaurants for foodies nearby. Also a central place for the city tour. Comfortable rooms. Happy service.

Good experience overall .. They have written breakfast from 7 am ... But when asked for they said can only provide sandwiches at 7. 30 ... That was bad ... Also food very costly .. But lot of options nearby. Rest otherthings good

The Hotel Lawrence was good, the staff was co operative, the Hotel Lawrence was clean and the food too was very good, the location of the Hotel Lawrence is in an old city, so its crowded and sound in mornings. Overall pleasant for staying with family.

Hotel is situated in the core of city from where almost everything is accesible. Hotel is well maintained and the service and staff is excellent and hospitable.
