Hotel Layul Palace

Sometimes in life you find people who go out of their way to help you and take care of you. The malik family of layul ladakh is one of those. Their Hotel Layul Palace has all the facilities you will need ( cable TV, WiFi, doctor on campus, clean room and washroom, good food and excellent service and they will definitely make your stay memorable. 2 incidents happened which will give you an idea of the kind of people they are ... 1. We were travelling from leh to nubra valley via khardungla pass. We got stuck in traffic at khardungla which is at 18000 ft and had to stay there for one and half hours instead of the recommended max of 15 min. So we suffered from hypoxia and acute mountain sickness and had to turn back. We reached Hotel Layul Palace layul and Mr. Malik took us in, helped us and took us to the hospital in his own car. We did not have a reservation for that day but he never once mentioned it, just made us comfortable. If I had been staying at some 5 star Hotel Layul Palace, no way they would vie given us a room without formalities. When you are travelling to a harsh environment like leh, you need someone like the maliks by your side. 2. When they learned it was our anniversary they went out of their way to make it special. My suggestion to fellow travellers is that contact Mr malik and leave everything to him to make your trip successful.

I had booked this Hotel Layul Palace at last moment, while travelling from Srinagar to Leh. There were no reviews on MMT to refer to, but went ahead and booked without many expectations as it was affordable. But the stay at Hotel Layul Palace made me feel proud about the Choice. Staff is very knowledgeable and courteous, helps in planning trips. Rooms are neat and clean. As its very cold, they will provide extra rugs. More importantly they have the contacts in case you need bikes or cab for travelling. Overall it was enjoyable stay.

I and my wife stayed here for couple of days 2 times while on our trip to Ladakh. Staff are highly efficient and cooperative. We prefer to move early morning like 5 am and they provided us with tea and breakfast in the morning. Layul palace owner Caved is an exceptional person and always ready to provide help when ever needed. He has guided us for our future routes and places of interest. I would highly recommend this place if you are visiting to Leh.

Wonderful, owner Mr. Caved is taking care of every guest and provide every sort of help, information & logistical arrangements. Location is perfect, very near to Shanti Stupa. View from the rooms are very beautiful, snow clad mountains. Cleanliness is superb and over all food made by Mr. Gopi and his team is very delicious. We are very much thankful to team Hotel Layul Palace who made our trip wonderful. Thanks.

Writing reviews is very difficult for me but since I enjoyed my trip to leh ladakh I thought I might share some views about this guest house. Since it is located on t-point of shanti stupa road it's a 20 minutes walking distance from the main market and the other thing is WiFi was not working. It's hardly works for 1 or 2 hours or maybe it takes 4 to 5 days to work. Except the location everything is good.

The Hotel Layul Palace is at a walking distance from Shanti Stupa, local market and the taxi stand and is also close to the airport. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is very warm and friendly, guide you we'll, help you plan your trip, also help with health problems, cook homely food. Overall experience was quite good. Only problem - WiFi signal is quite weak.

It is a very good place to stay. Though not very near to main market, the good service, cleanliness, good rooms & good food, all at reasonable price makes it an excellent choice for those seeking value for their money.

So far away from main road, and excellent if coming by own transport. Place is clean and nice. Much better if generator is also present. Good WiFi, also provide cab to go to airport/any place. Food is good. LCD TV is present. Good for 2 people per room.

Everything was superb and value for money stay at Layukh Palace Hotel Layul Palace in Leh ... One will get home like feeling at the Hotel Layul Palace ... Food is good ... Wi-Fi connectivity is poor ... Mr. Javed and his father (owners) are really helpful guys ... I recommend this Hotel Layul Palace for its value for money stay and great service.

Location is really very good, and nice view of Leh. Amazing and beautiful. Nice look, enjoyed trip to Leh and food are really good. Staff are also polite and people are good. Room location is great. I really like Hotel Layul Palace location very much, very near to Shanti Stupa.

It was an okay and satisfying stay in this Hotel Layul Palace. Rooms and bathrooms are clean and mattresses, blankets are clean. Tap fitting is leaky in few rooms. Overall it was good for the price Rs. 2000 at Leh as prices are high here.

Room was great, view of the room was good with all facilities. Food was good. Service was extremely good and prompt. Very helpful Hotel Layul Palace staff. The WiFi facility was a highlight. Although not good connectivity throughout but still very helpful.

We stayed at this Hotel Layul Palace for 3 days and really enjoyed the stay, for the money the Hotel Layul Palace is totally worth it. The staff is very courteous and honest and you get what you ask for. It is walking distance from the main market and you go for a walk to the famous Shanti stupa as well. Overall 9/10.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Hotel Layul Palace in Leh for 6 days. The owners were very cooperative in planning our Tours to Pangong Lake and Nubra Valley. Both gave personal attention for all our requirements. Good food and Clean kitchen. Mr Javed tried his best to arrange Shared taxi for us so that we can save some money.

Hotel was good, neat & clean rooms. Food provided is very good. Owner is very nice person and having good knowledge of trekking as well as organized Tours. It was overall very nice experience to stay at this place.

Location of the Hotel Layul Palace is OK.. Near shanti stupa.. Hotel staff is very cooperative.. Good food.. Rooms are clean.. Some problem with WiFi.. May be due to problem in Kashmir this time.. They will serve you vegetarian food, quality is good.

The Hotel Layul Palace is good and having nice experience to stay at the same time I suggest that window should the net to avoid mosquito. I also feel that fan should be available in the room Hotel Layul Palace owners are excellent.
