Hotel Le Golden

We visited amritsar in march 2023 for the first time and stayed at Hotel Le Golden le golden. It was highly recommended to us by a family friend. The location of the Hotel Le Golden is its greatest strength since it is just 100 metres away from the harmandir sahib. We could visit the temple several times and at any time including at midnight. Besides the location, the hospitality offered by manager nirvail singh and his team was excellent. Right from personally picking us up from the station amid-st heavy downpour to helping us with the temple protocols and logistics for other sight seeing and helping us reach the station back in time for our return journey, he ensured our stay was very comfortable. A great choice for family groups particularly with aged members.

This can easily be the closest Hotel Le Golden to the Golden Temple. Its location is its biggest strength and bit of weakness too. Hotel staff was warm but not great. Approaching this Hotel Le Golden on your own, vehicle may be a bit of task, as roads approaching are narrow and GPS will give you direction irrespective of road width. I got stuck twice in the route as GPS misdirected. I asked for personal assistance from the Hotel Le Golden but they were not able to help me. So it took me around 1 hour extra to reach the Hotel Le Golden. Apart from reaching the Hotel Le Golden, everything was fine. Buffet hall at the top gives amazing view of Darbar Sahib.

The Hotel is located just meters away from the holy gurudwara and so we visited the mandir in the morning as well as in the evening. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable with attached bathroom. A well laid out breakfast table awaits you in the morning with the staff of the Hotel Le Golden just a phone call away. Except for the approach to the Hotel Le Golden which is through a maze of narrow and winding lane (you can't blame the Hotel for that) it's a good place to stay. I would advice you not to take your vehicle right up to the Hotel Le Golden but to Park it at a nearby parking lot and take an auto to the Hotel Le Golden.

Went there with my family, and booked one super deluxe and one deluxe room for 2 nights. The room was clean, basic amenities were there. The staff was polite, u can call them anytime they will surely help u no matter what the time is. Parking is available just outside the Hotel Le Golden. There working lift which is good for elder people. But the rate was lilo high as compare to the room, it was clean though but still, after spending lilo high u expect some luxurious interior that was missing. All in all good experience with this Hotel Le Golden. Will recommend this to my family and friends in the future.

I have stayed in the Hotel Le Golden multiple times, everyone knows that location is one of biggest plus point of the Hotel Le Golden however there are few other really good things about this Hotel Le Golden. Firstly the rooms are fairly priced, cleanniness is to the point and attitude of the staff either behind the desk (the managers) or housekeeping or room service, everyone is ready to help. Thats the best part of this Hotel Le Golden. Its staff, they always make sure that guest have best experience staying and leave with a smile on their face

The Hotel is couple of meters away from the entry gate of Shri Harmandir Sahibji, the rooms and was rooms are clean and tidy. All basic necessity things are provided like comfortable bed, clean beddings, tea maker, tv, almirah, heater, ac was also installed, soap, shampoo, super hot water. Breakfast provided on rooftop restaurant with the beautiful view of Shri Harmandir Sahibji was very tasty with decent options. Crockery and seating area needs some improvement. Overall a pleasant stay at the best location will won't mind staying again.

The location of the Hotel Le Golden is superb, just in front of the golden temple. The staff is very friendly and cooperative. I just took the breakfast there which was very tasty and hygienic. It had fruits, milk cornflakes, sandwiches, bread pakoras, puri bhaji and even a loo paranthas on one day. The rooms are very clean. Even a heater was provided. They have kept mineral water and tea arrangement in the room itself. Overall the experience was simply superb, 10 on 10

➖the Hotel Le Golden staff was cooperative. ➖cleaniness was not so good, for bed sheets it was ok but for window dust, table dust it was not good. ➖facilites was ok ➖some facilities were ignored like intercom not working.. ➖during the time we were waiting for check in, bcause time was taken by cleaning staff not even a glass of water was offered in so hot day.. ➖but overall there was no issue during the stay it was good stay. ➖food was also reasonable and good

No food in this Hotel Le Golden because of covid19 and rest was good etc

We stayed as family, it is opposite to the entry to temple, enjoy a good walk around the jalianwala bagh and the local market. They had good breakfast spread with rooms in very good condition.

Complimentary breakfast was excellent.

2 Minutes walk, very near to Golden Temple.

Decent stay close to darbar sahib decent rooms we din try food but rooms n location is perfect. Polite staff.
