This is an old property with plenty of experience and expertise on how to handle stuffs during relentless tourist pressure, their location is 50 meters from ghat. 15 inside the old gagribal road, but the location matters little due to the peaceful nature of the area and cleanliness. Owner mr. Shoukat wan i is very friendly and i was amazed by his trust on the tourists. Example: on my return stay i could not pay advance but kept constant communication with him, and he trusted us to keep 2 big rooms booked. Hats off sir! rooms: 4/5 they are huge, specially 203, 205 on ground floor facing a beautiful garden. Bathroom: 3/5 they are clean but needs lot of work as they are ageing. Hot water: 4/5 always available if electricity is present, and in srinagar there are regular load shedding during the night. Food: 4/5 just let them know in advance what you want and they will try. Quality was fine and homely. Lots of food options around also.

Great overall experience staying at Madhuvan. Great location and specious rooms. Very walkable to the dal lake and great. I definitely recommend staying here. Simple food and very authentic and tasty. For the couple of days we stays enjoyed a lot. Thanks guys!

Our experience was good. Hotel is located next to forest belt and very nest to Dal Lake. Hotel staff was friendly, specially Mr.Liyakat who ensured we get good food. He was very humble and polite.

Stayed in ground floor room in front of beautiful garden. Room was very clean service was also very good. Food quality was also good. Only problem was with wifi rest was fine.

The room we stayed in gave a feeling of personal cosy cottage.
