Hotel Madhuban Highlands

It was the very first time when we opted for Hotel Madhuban. The stay experience was amazing. The only thing that can be worked upon is the cleanliness of the corners of the room and hot water in winters. Apart from all of this, the room, food and stay were top notch.

We book 300+ SqFt Deluxe room but they gave 200 sq.ft room and for the large room they charge extra. variety in breakfast is very limited, it is like sub stander hotel buffet.

I checked in late night when I entered the room I say the blanket. There were stains on the blanket. Tv was not working at all. Though they tried a lot but the tv was not active. Spending money for this hotel doesn't worth. When I asked for the room heater they provided me the small one. That small heater was not at all enough for the room. The staff who made us checked in was quite rude. The morning staff was quite pleasant and helpful. He was very soft-spoken. Over-all experience is below average.

The food quality and behavior of staff was excellent. Manager of the Hotel was even more courteous to drop us to library himself.

Hotel staff was nice good place to stay.

Zero hospitality, manager always in sad mode, no buffet, useless chilly chicken and after all this, wait for more than one hour to get hot water for Bath. Have stayed before also but it was never so bad.

Check in was good. Rooms provided were awesome. Good quality also good. But check out was very troublesome. Hotel staff demanded additional for 2 guests but we already paid for all and as per voucher provided by MMT show nothing to pay at hotel. Resolving this small issue took 2 hours, by MMT and they accepted their mistake. MMT person assured us to compensate us for the incident by providing voucher within 48 hours of resolving incident and the same is still awaited.

Stay was I would say so- so. Had gone with lot of excitement but was not very good. It was a satisfactory stay.

Bad decision to choose this

Though the check in time is 10 am, we reached Mussoorie at 4 and to my surprise the room allotted to us was in a mess, the housekeeping staff was yet to clean the room after the previous guest staying in that room checked out . In fact the entire corridor was dirty with tissues, hair particles, glasses lying here and there. I complained about it to the person at the reception and refused to stay at that floor. I was allotted a different room in the different floor thereafter. However, it wasn’t well kept as well. The fridge was not working, the curtains were coming out of their hooks..Though they replaced the fridge later but they really need to work in cleanliness and maintenance of their property. Too high a price considering how poorly it is maintained.

Food is not up to mark. And room service is very slow

Pretty bad experience, room was dirty, stinky bathroom. No facilities for kids. The Hotel is not even 1 star. Advice to travellers, stay here if you don't get any room throughout Mussoorie. Real bad experience. I'll never come again in made ban. Far from market, no shuttle service, unhygienic rooms, full of smell dampness, overall bad experience never visit again. Service was very bad. Even they give water to drink, when we called so many times at reception. That was also a normal house bottle, water taste bad. Hotel staff are good but after all if service and facilities are bad, how I can give good rating. Request Hotel management, that please provide good services, as we are paying high comparatively to other hotels

Location is far away from the mall Road and busy with traffic. Food is good. Cleanliness of room is very poor.

I think at this cost overall facilities were average. Rooms were spacious but not fully cleaned. There was a continuous stinky smell with some leakage in bathroom. Cable tv was not working properly every time I had contacted reception for that. Food was good.

Best place to stay in Mussoorie.

Good and pleasing stay. Food variety needs improvement.

Wonderful location, rooms and services. Room service very prompt.
Insufficient power points. Switching off the heating in the morning. Noisy guests on the corridor till late night.

OK food. Average food. Very poor hotel management. Poor transport facility. Basic amenities in rooms were missing. Staff were not cooperative. If you have a small kid then do not come here. Hotel is located at a steep elevation. Transport facility is very uncertain and was not provided to us at all. Toilet was stinking, no action was taken. Hot water supply was uncertain. Only select the valley facing rooms. Other rooms are not worth as they have no window view at all.
