Hotel Madhuvan Serai

We stayed for 3 nights and it was a wonderful stay. good, courteous staff, prompt service made a lot of difference. our room was upgraded to executive AC which was a nice gesture shown by the Hotel Madhuvan Serai. They have 2 restaurants - veg and non veg. we tried non veg and the food was good. some dishes were a bit overpriced, but overall it didn't matter much to our pockets. Their complementary breakfast was mostly South Indian menu but if you want to try something different, they made excellent Puri sabji. The Hotel Madhuvan Serai is located in a nice location in Manipal and you can get auto easily. Overall, it was an excellent stay for us.

The location was convenient, just about 5 minutes walk from tiger circle, where most of the long distance buses stop. The room was clean and well maintained, with a coffee maker and adequate number of coffee, tea, sugar and dairy whitener sachets. The ac was quite ok. However, the lack of enough hooks in the bathroom to hang clothes is a drawback. For some reason the cupboard in the room was permanently locked. The restaurant on the first floor was very good with delicious food friendly and hospitable staff and reasonable prices.

Spacious and very clean rooms and toilets. Well maintained and prompt housekeeping. Veg breakfast was OK. You may even walk 500m to Pai tiffin from the Hotel Madhuvan Serai to have amazing breakfast. Parking available, in a semicircle kind of pathway around the Hotel Madhuvan Serai as it has other commercial establishments adjacent to it.

This is a good value for money Hotel Madhuvan Serai with good service staff while rooms were exceptionally clean including the rest rooms. Found both mattress and pillows a bit more soft to my liking. Breakfast was very ordinary though. I will stay there for sure due to proximity to mahe college campus.

The room was big enough for my family to stay comfortably for 3 days. Breakfast was good and they have dosai, poori items made after our order. I had a flat tire and the staff arranged a local tire repair person to fix on the spot. Will highly recommend it for families.

Comfortable Hotel Madhuvan Serai in the heart of manipal with pleasant comfortable rooms, tasty vegetarian buffet breakfast and good views from the balcony. Also boasts of a good non-vegetarian restaurant.

Its right next to manipal university and the staff is very helpful! only thing i did not find good was their wifi services! no wifi network in the rooms!
