the rooms were good, the atmosphere was cozy with a large, clean swimming pool and trees all around. the Hotel Mahabs is also near to the Shore temple, beach and Arjuna's penance. you can just walk to most of the places so it's comfortable. The only drawback was that the breakfast was very bad. they charged ₹350 for the buffet (there is only a buffet option) and the food provided for it was good. please don't eat Idlies, Vada, Chutneys. Coffe was also undrinkable. dinner can be ordered through room service and the dinner was extremely fresh and delicious.

The staff is really cheerful and helpful. The rooms are always kept clean. The in-house restaurant has huge options in breakfast. The swimming pool is also kept clean. The decor is kept tidy in the vicinity. The Hotel Mahabs is at prime location: near to mahabalipuram bust stand, close to the beach (approx 500 mtrs. The reception has simple and authentic decor with lord ganesha's little temple besides. All in all, a excellent stay with affordable prices (courteous staff adds one more star on their ratings.

The Hotel Mahabs was very peaceful and clean. The staffs were very good and their behaviour was wonderful. The stay was short but still it felt great. The pool was very good and the food from the restaurant inside was also great. It's a great deal to stay in it.
