Our stay at Hotel Maharaja was an enjoyable one. There is a clear and beautiful view of the Naini Lake from the balcony of our room. The food quality was good. The free cab service arranged by hotel for reaching the hotel from mall road is very helpful.

The cost of the hotel is too much and it's not at all worth of that cost. Hotel showed parking space available but it didn't allow parking due to which I had faced too much harassment in the peak season, I saw 5-6 vehicles parked in the parking space later, this seemed like a fraud if the allow or not allow as per their convenience despite that parking is shown as available at the time of booking. Also the rooms are very small and there is not even a wardrobe, there is literally no space in the room. There is light issue in the room, the landline phone was not working, there are spacings in the curtains and someone from outside can clearly see you inside, there is so much noise from outside which will disturb you all the time, food is satisfactory but costly compared to outside, the water bottles are also not provided and charges are 30 rs for the 20 rs bottle. They provide you a shuttle service to bring you up to the hotel which is on very steep slope, but they make you wait for almost half an hour. Overall a very bad experience.

Team MakeMyTrip, I recently had the opportunity to stay at Hotel Maharaja in Nainital and would like to share my feedback. Overall, my stay was satisfactory. Location: The hotel's location was a bit far from Mall Road and Nainital Lake. The only advantage was for those on the top floor, as they could enjoy a view of Nainital Lake from their balcony. Food: Regarding the food, I found the breakfast to be satisfactory. Facilities: A notable facility at the property was the pick-up service from Mall Road to the hotel, which was helpful given the distance.

This is one of the Avg hotel, where you find rooms are little congested and doesn't have much space to keep your legs and belongings comfortably. so if you don't have options then you can go fot it. but if you have older people with you the please avoid as this is located on upside hill which is approx 500 mt upside on zoo road. good thing is property does have all amenities and good room service, hygine and bathrooms were clean but not much spacious. we stayed in deluxe family room while there maharaj suite enough space which seema to be overpriced and deluxe rooms also not worth more than 3000/night. food is good in taste as they have in house kitchen and staff was good with behaviour. a small car can be parked as they have little space in front if hotel itself. over all it was good experience except the room size. mall road is just 10 minute walkable distance and dont expect thier lake side view rooms as this is visible but not that worth.

It’s very far from market it’s difficult for parking and taking u turns it almost took me 1 hour to take u turn and get seated and they don’t have many food options as we are a non vegetarian.

The worst nightmare came true! First things first, we booked this hotel after doing a lot of research but little did we know. The hotel is located at the slope of 1km which is a very very steep slope so things 10 times before you book this hotel there are better hotels on the mall road itself Now the worst part is the queen size room is a size of 2 alto cars I'm not kidding you cannot open your 15kg bag anywhere but on the bed, there are no wardrobes in the room,room has no source of natural light only yellow bulbs in the room, instead of TV there is monitor in the room. Hot water is apparently a luxury according to this place they have hot water only from 7am to 3pm after that if you need hot water they don't care also in this time slot the hot water is only in tap which is used for shower no hot water in basin so all the best washing your faces or even brushing your teeth The hotel doesn't provide packaged drinking water not even a single bottle when you arrive they give water which is given in a dirty dirty jug.. If you want bottled water is ₹30 that too some local brand In house resturant has the most expensive food I had in this 4 days trip to Nanital one dal tadka is ₹180 that to very average taste wise and quality is very less, jeera rice for ₹140 it's barely a bowlful of rice. The rooms are not sealed well so the noise from outside will disturb you constantly. If you are going during winters and not used to harsh winters like me mind you it's not your best choice as they don't have heaters in the room if you want heater they have ₹300 per day that too no socket nearby to plugin Also the main door has a gap in between so it will keep the cool no matter what you do.. Now since the hotel is located on a slope most of such hotels have a pickup service from down while going down you have to go on your own but which coming up they have pick up option they give you a number you call and then wait for 10 mins if you are lucky you get the guy to come on time and have space for us it was like after waiting for 15 mins the guy came in a bolero car and we didn't get seats so made us sit in the back the door doesn't lock doesn't open you need the driver to come out use his keys and unlock god it was a difficult moment. The people sitting on reception are so nosy they want to know where you are travelling how are you travelling when and everything else. Over all everything is bad Just one good thing I found was that the wifi was good that's all. Literally nothing else So don't there are so many better hotels in nainital

familyPros. 1. The view from the backside rooms is great. 2. If you are two families or two rooms are required then the shared balcony becomes yours practically. 3. Washrooms are clean n spacious. 4. Since hotel is at steep height, it is good that they offer complementary pickup service from mall road. Cons. 1. Rooms are very congested. 2. Tv not working properly. In one room bed was having some breakage, basically room maintenance is not as good as exterior maintenance. 3. Hot water supply not 24 hrs. Although its not 24 hrs in many hotels. But in this price range i expect it to be 24 hrs. Overall i think the price was more because of the view.

Every request was met promptly and with a smile. **Room:** The room I stayed in was spacious, well-lit, and impeccably clean. It was tastefully decorated with luxurious furnishings, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The amenities were top-notch, with everything from high-speed internet to premium toiletries. I was also impressed by the breathtaking view from my room—truly a highlight of the stay. Dining: The food at Hotel Maharaja deserves special mention. The on-site restaurant offers a wide range of delicious dishes, both local and international. Breakfast was a treat with an extensive buffet, offering everything from fresh fruit to traditional Indian delicacies. The service in the restaurant was equally excellent, with the staff making sure we were well taken care of.
