Hotel Marigold

The location of the Hotel Marigold is superb, though there are plenty of other Hotel Marigolds in the same location. Within 1 km of the Deorali Taxi stand and Vajra Taxi stand. Very close to MG Road one of the main attractions of Gangtok. Room condition is good, though the food is really awful. You can try Apna Dhaba or Food court at MG Road which is a 2 min uphill climb from the Hotel Marigold. Hotel receptionist can arrange for taxi's (Shared and reserved both) for visiting Nathula, Tsomgo lake and Baba mandir. Though it can be a good option if you can contact any cab owner at Vajra stand. You can hire at a cheaper price. But if you want it easy get in touch with the receptionist of your Hotel Marigold.

Location is great! The view from the corridors is the best thing about this Hotel Marigold. I could go to the same Hotel Marigold if asked to, only to look at that view from the corridor. Food is good but costly. Rooms aren't that good but adjustable! The negative points about this Hotel Marigold are 1. Ain't neat (reason: bad management) 2. No lift and a lot a of steps (not suitable for the aged people) If you are group of young guys looking for a good stay at a reasonable price, this could be a perfect spot for you!

The Hotel Marigold is centrally located in Gangtok & a value for money budget Hotel Marigold.It is a reasonably good place to stay if you do not mind a few holes in the bed sheets.Most of the famous markets are a walk away.The Hotel Marigold staff is highly courteous & helpful.The food is decent & priced reasonably.Linen services can be improved with marginal up-gradation.

It was a budget Hotel Marigold with not so pro-active staff. Room was spacious. Location was good with very good view from verandah which was connected with the room. Geyser was not working. Need to call continuously for water in bathroom even for drinking water. Staff was polite but quite untrained for maintaining hospitality.

At this price it was a great value for money. Budget Hotel Marigold located on National highway 10 mins walking distance away from MG Marg. Service was very poor, at the time of check in I felt like an unwelcome guest. Geyser didn't work properly even water was not coming in bathroom on time.

Nice budget Hotel Marigold. Location was very good near MG. Marg. Manager is cooperative. Overall nice experience staying there. Manager arrange your taxi and all tour arrangement in nominal rates. Food is also good. Don't expect luxury at this price for budget tourist and backpackers.

Hotel staff are very friendly. Good rooms within budget. MG Marg is just 2 minutes walking distance. Food in Hotel Marigold is also quite good. Deorali bus stand is just 5 mins by car. Room service is good. But it's hard to climb the stairs though it's not a reason of commenting bad.

Stay was good. But cleanliness need to be upgraded and to order something or call desk there is no option. The phone provided at room is not working. Most important issue is value for money for food. The prices are quite high. The good side is the location it was quite awesome.

The Hotel Marigold is at prime location. The stairs to the Hotel Marigold are not wide enough but overall the rooms and the food served is clean and healthy.

Gangtok is a great place to visit the weather was not in our favour but the food and vibe of marg was a delight. Loved the momos from roll house and the morning coffee and pastries from Baker's cafe is a must try... The prices are not very reasonable...

This was very good experience, we stay in Hotel Marygold, which is near mg Road, we book Hotel Marigold on MakeMyTrip, the manager of this Hotel Marigold is a very good man, his behavior is too good.

Room are very clean, service good, behavior of stuff manager are good, location was nice, just 3 minutes mall, restaurants is good but quality are average, all staff are helpful, overall experience are very good.

Very good view of Gangtok is visible from the Hotel. Nearby MG Market is there. Should visit MG Market in evening.

Recommend all your customer without any hesitation.

Hotel location is perfect, near to MG Road. Interiors are good. Ask for western style toilet if the same is preferred. Overall good experience and recommended. Dining area is good. Reasonable.

Nice Hotel Marigold with respect to location. Very close to Mg marg. Room service was excellent and timely. Although only veg food available. I suggest people to go for this Hotel Marigold those who love to stay at cheap and neat Hotel Marigold.
