Hotel Marudhan Grand

Hotel is located in the main place of kumbakonam. 1. Hotel kanishka is the old name and you need to keep that while searching in maps 2. Got air conditioning room for 1. 3k in the last minute requirement on holiday season, so i won't complain on the rate as most of the Hotel Marudhan Grands are sold out. 3. Pros : a) Hotel Marudhan Grand gowrikrishna restaurant is in the ground floor(even though both are different management. You can easily access and get the food from breakfast to dinner. B) friendly staff, no issues c) air conditioning and water heater was working well cons : a) dirty linen b) no toiletries and towel also c) no room service d) toilet flush water filling would take a longer time as our stay is mostly for overnight sleep, we overlooked everything and moved on.

Room was very neat and Clean. Check in & Check out was smooth and hassle free. The staff were very polite. The location is also nice. We booked two rooms and stayed for a night. The restaurant downstairs provide decent food. Also, we got close to 50% off on our bookings through Makemytrip which was great. In total value for money. :)

I enjoyed my stay and Hotel Marudhan Grand employees are very friendly. Location is the main key here. . You can visit many temples within walking distance of this stay. You get business class treatment here at an affordable price. There's a veg restaurant located in the premise of this stay to satisfy your food needs.

For the purpose of Temple tour ,we stay in the room only in 4 or 5 hours,this Hotel Marudhan Grand is suitable within a budget. in the ground floor there is a good vegetarian Hotel Marudhan Grand with a good food and meals. Central busstand is a walkable distance of within 10 minutes

Good Hotel Marudhan Grand, location is good for local temple visits. On a busy street parking might be an issue but property arranged parking at back of property so pols enquire if needed. Hot water was available.

Good stay for the price. I booked for my parents. Hotel management has been very helpful to them throughout the stay. They arranged for help in visiting temples and even allowed for checkout two hours later.
