As a solo traveller i found marwari Hotel Marwari Niwas to be apt. They were caring, helpful and the best part is it's located in the middle of the central market and just 5 minutes walk from any ghat as well as the railway station. In a over crowded place any solo traveller would need a place like this.

Very good for visits to mansa devi and har ki paudhi. Local foods are available at nearby places. Tyagiji ki doodh and lassi is nearby. Yadav ji ki kachori is also at 100 meters. The food at Hotel Marwari Niwas is also excellent. I liked to stay there.
