We recently staying this unique Portuguese mansion and the experience was marvelous. The service provided by staff were wonderful and the room was beautifully appointed as we were in family with child and toddlers, and every aspect of my stay was meticulously taken care of. Cleanliness, comfort, room décor and ambiance all are value of money. Additionally, proximity to attractions like fontainhas with heritage homes & winding alleyways plus walking distance to waterfront and casinos added a special touch that made our visit to panjim even more enjoyable. Thank you once again for hospitality and for creating such a wonderful experience for us.

We stayed at mate-us boutique Hotel Mateus for 3 nights 4 days, it was really an amazing stay at this heritage property. Rooms were very clean and maintained felt like staying in a villa rooms with vintage windows. In fact this property and entire fountainhas area is so much colourful, many people from different parts of india visiting and clicking photos here. Those who are looking for a relaxing time and heritage experience can certainly go for this Hotel Mateus it’s worth every penny you spend.

Cosy Hotel Mateus nestled amidst the cosy lanes of Fontainhas Panjim. Beautifully restored preseving the Portuguese original architecture! Just has the right amount of space to park yourself into comfort. Worth the pennies you spend. Rooms and clean and well kept. Suraj the caretaker really makes sure you are comfortable

Very well located. Staff is very nice. Building look is very beautiffull and traditionnal. The room was very confortable and i enjoy it a lot.

Cute property, great location and courteous staff. In the heart of panjim, the Hotel Mateus offers a heritage feeling which adds to the experience.

Location is good, it has an old charm to it although rooms are slightly small its got a cozy homely feel to it.

Fantastic stay right in the heart of panjim in fontainhas. Our host miss avid is pleasant and welcoming. Rooms are good with large bed with all amenities within an old portuguese house with views to die for. Its walking distance to mandovi and close to joseph's bar and caravela.

Lovely plod portuguese house, full of charm, room & bathroom nice. Very central to the fontainhas district with great restaurants & bars. Staff helpful and polite. I would recommend.
