Hotel Maurya Palace

Location is nice, near Mysore Palace. Only problem was that the entry and exit is not allowed from the nearer gate so we had to go to the opposite side gate. Hotel is nice and value for money. Room are neat and clean. Problem was that the plug points were little loose. Window panes of the bathroom were transparent glass. We had to cover it with newspaper before taking bath. We were lucky to get 3 bedroom when we had booked for 2 bedroom. Hotel Manager was very nice. He talked nicely. Good service. We did not had any problem related to that. Breakfast was included in our booking and it was good. As far as lunch and dinner is considered, we took Indian lunch which was okay not great. We had Chinese for dinner which was again on the better side but not great. Overall Experience was very good and personally I will recommend this as a budget Hotel Maurya Palace .

The room was spacious. Good air-conditioning. The bathroom in our room had a broken window, we were not particularly happy about it. Average room service at best. Good thing is that the mysore palace is quite near to the place. All rooms have tv and wifi service. Our tv was not lively enough to work, but the wifi speeds are quite top notch. Our breakfast was an all u can eat buffet with all kinds of south indian breakfast over all a good stay at a proper budget, remember this was an off season visit the price or the service may differ depending on the season and time of the year

The food was good. We had opted for free breakfast which was quite reasonable. The room was very spacious with an extra bed. Staff's were very friendly and moreover the location was as we wanted like near the market and Palace. Scope of improvement we stayed in room number 309. It requires a little pest control because we could find few bed bugs which disturbed us during sleep. The same communicated to the Hotel Maurya Palace staff the next morning.

I booked room for 2 ac with breakfast and have to say this was a delightful stay. Decent rooms, not too fancy. One of the better places to stay in mysore. Location too is very convenient. Also, staff is very polite and the whole check-in and checkout was smooth complimentary breakfast is also a decent buffet. Overall a very pleasant stay, highly recommended

The Hotel Maurya Palace is perfectly placed in the area of Mysore Palace. In addition to that it is in walkable distance to the CBS. The breakfast was inclusive with our room. There was a small buffet with fruits and stuff like that.
The view was not very nice. The water could have been warmer. It was nice to get an English newspaper in the morning.

The condition of toilet was not good in the room where I have stayed. Water was logged permanently in front of the toilet. Restaurant is very bad. They have served us spoiled fish curry and refused to cancel the order. Again, we have ordered for chicken curry. Food quality is absolutely rubbish. Taste and quality of food is very bad. Prices are too high.

Location of the Hotel Maurya Palace is awesome. Just 5 min walk from the palace, and close by to everything in the city center. Though its an older construction, the rooms are big enough and decent. Staff is very courteous. Only complaint is, the breadsheets and pillow covers aren't too clean. The stains are still there. High time they replace these!

Hotel is located in city center is around 850 mtr away from mysore bus stand and around 3 km from mysore railway station, mysore palace is walkable distance around 200 mtr. The Hotel Maurya Palace maurya palace have nice restaurant inside Hotel Maurya Palace vegetarian and non vegetarian both seperately. Wonderful stay which make our trip fabulous.

Hotel is good and well maintained. yes, of course CLEAN. there is a Jewel rock restaurant which is good at service and food (Veg /Non veg) and there is a separate Veg Hotel Maurya Palace also. This is room service for light food whihc is more than enough for morning breakfast.

Had a pleasant stay experience in this Hotel Maurya Palace . Courteous staff, they had two in house restaurants serving north indian, south indian and mughlai food. Only problem i faced was the hot water. It was not hot enough for that climate. Other than that best Hotel Maurya Palace to stay near mysore palace.

Maurya Palace is an excellent budget Hotel Maurya Palace for any one to spend some days in Mysore. It is located at an excellent position and highly satisfied with the service of the Hotel Maurya Palace

The experience was very good. The Hotel Maurya Palace was good and highly recommended for family travel. Except for the bathroom which was small. Everything else was very good.
