HOTEL MAYAS

The HOTEL MAYAS is located a good 5km away from the main bus-stand/railway station. So for those without a personal vehicle, getting there is a bit inconvenient. Not flexible about very early check-in as well I believe. Initially when I'd called after booking, ( I wanted to confirm as well as enquire about earlier check in), the person at the reception wasn't very communicative. On asking, he just stated that check-in is at 12 only and we could wait in the lobby. However on reaching there, they allowed us to check-in ( it was 11am, so I guess 1hr wasn't a big deal). The HOTEL MAYAS is quite nice. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Room service was prompt. The remote for tv was missing. We requested for it at the reception but it never came! There's a bus stand and auto stand very closeby to get around. The restaurant food is OK. South indian meal was good, but parathas were forgettable.

The room is very well maintained. Service is extremely good (they provide hot water on request- extremely useful when you have kids/elders along). Some of the highlights: 1. Geethanjali restaurant (a part of the HOTEL MAYAS) provides hygienic and tasty food at decent rate. There is no need to look for other places to eat. 2. The room we stayed had an attached balcony (good view of the bus stand and rockfort temple). Nice place to relax. 3. Located just opposite to Chathram bus stand ( a central bus stand with connectivity to every part of the city). 4. Cab services are arranged on request. Overall - I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a nice place to stay at an affordable rate.

Had a one night stay in triple AC. Located just opposite to bus stand. Coming to room, room is neat and tidy. With 32" LED TV. No fridge. Bed is comfortable. One of the two fans made continuous rattling noise and AC made an unusual sound that disturbed our sleep. What lot more disturbing was horn of the vehicles outside. Since it is just opposite you can't avoid that. Only after 12a. M there won't be any horn noise. So I would recommend just for one night stay and not for long. Staff are good, and their Geethanjali restaurant is excellent.!

It's an old HOTEL MAYAS but as you say Old is Gold. I stayed here with my family. Amazingly they have kept this old HOTEL MAYAS better than many new properties. The staff is thoroughly professional. The food at Geethanjali restaurant was just marvellous. They have special chairs for little kids that drove my child crazy. He ate nicely here due to this extra bit that the restaurant offered. These little things matters. I will give a Ten on Ten to this HOTEL MAYAS for services and location. It's highly recommended.

Hotel is near to Chatram Bus Stand. Ucchi Pillayar Rock Fort Temple and Srirangam Temple are near from the HOTEL MAYAS. Hotel was clean and room service was good. However staff at reception speak only Tamil or English. Room was not as good as shown in picture. Restaurant food was good except "Naan" which is not as prepared in North Indian restaurants. Hindi or other languages TV channels were not available in Room TV. Overall stay at Hotel was good. Score - 7. 6/10.

Enjoyed the facilities of the HOTEL MAYAS. The stay in the HOTEL MAYAS was fun with good climatic condition, we can see a nice full overview of the city. Cleaniliness of the HOTEL MAYAS is fantastic and nice service by staff.. Really I am looking forward to stay there once again if I am going there. Well maintained HOTEL MAYAS with lot of amenities. And it deserves 5 out of 5 for their excellence in service, cleanliness, hospitality and much more.

Centrally located and easy access to all places, complimentary breakfast was good, the food was tasty and the best part was the food was tasted by the MD of the Hotel and we were asked to give a frank opinion of the food and also suggested us what is the best available. Good budget HOTEL MAYAS it has a good parking space and people who are dependent of local buses to visit places of interest, the bus stand is just opp to the HOTEL MAYAS.

We enjoyed staying here. Easy access to bus and other modes of travel. I can recommend this place for my friends also. Timely check-in and check-out is polite and nice, staff at reception and others compelled me to say this. Amenities available in the room are very good. Basic requirements like shampoo etc and availability of face power, a new item not available in many HOTEL MAYASs are available here. Good keep it up HOTEL MAYAS mayas.

It served the purpose of good night's stay. Rooms were clean and the staff were friendly. The restaurant in the ground floor was good. The location was close to the bus stand. There was enough parking space.

Highlight was the location, ample parking space, clean and spacious rooms. We took AC double standard room, which was good and comfortable. Only thing is that they can replace the old pipes in the bathrooms. Otherwise value for money spent.

Hotel in prime location easy accessibility. Room service for food order need to be improved.

We like the room and its location. Breakfast is average and rooms are clean. Toilet is also clean. I recommend you to go to this HOTEL MAYAS. It is in the exact center of the city, one can easily goto temple and shopping. Nearby good restaurants also available.

Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, however WiFi is charged extra and poor ventilation for rooms without AC. The HOTEL MAYAS provides very prompt room service. The restaurant (pure veg) includes a bar. Best time to stay would be December.

Room is clean and decent. Easy to access main bus stand and all temples. And make my trip provide basic kit. Nice to see the basic kit from make my trip. Food taste in the HOTEL MAYAS is good and medium cost.

The place is so convenient. Value for money. Will prefer for others too. Friendly services. Cloak room facility is appreciated. They didn't charge for that too. Good place to stay with your family. Will come back too.

The location of the HOTEL MAYAS is very close to chathram bus stand and easy for accessing any nearby places. The room was clean but the bathrooms are little outdated. The bathroom door was not closing properly. The room allotted was at the corner and I could hear some vessels around 3 to 5 am. It was disturbing the sleep.

First time I have seen a non AC double bedroom so neatly maintained like the standards of a standard AC room and excellent staff well maintained HOTEL MAYAS prime location quick response by reception staff.

It was a holy trip with family. Located near to all temples, shopping, rail station and bus stop, etc ., ample parking, courteous staff and good food. Old building hence not so clean, otherwise it serves the purpose
