Hotel Meyyappaa

I will start off the review with my approach to the Hotel Meyyappaa. Little bit hard to find since it’s present within a complex and not explicitly visible on first sight although they do have some barricades in front of the Hotel Meyyappaa and board up top of the building which gives you the confidence that you found the place. It had a minimal parking space outdoors. The ambience of the Hotel Meyyappaa was fine. The staffs also were really kind and helpful. Next up the room, i had booked a standard double ac for 3 people. The room was decent sized with necessary amenities. Found it slightly dusty on the table top under the tv but not pretty much on a complaining level. They provided an extra bed which fit perfectly around the corner of the room. Once disappointment though was there was only one plug point in the whole room and we travel-led with a couple of electronic devices found it difficult to charge one by one. The ac in the room was fitted pretty much away from the bed, so had to have the ac at a very low temperature all the time. One more quirk was there was no night lamp in the room and for someone who would like to have the room slightly lit at night might find it difficult. Coming to the bathroom, that also was decent sized. All necessary things were working perfectly but the shower was broken. They provided soap and dental kit but there were no towels in the bathroom. Since we carried our own, never enquired about it. They had this whole staging area in front of each room with a table and chairs for relaxing and other stuff which i saw for the very first time and it was really unique. Great to have when you want to have a chitchat or play some games with your friends and family. Then coming to the services they provide, they don’t have a restaurant here. But they can get you food if you order through room service. I tried to order but they said it would take an hour for them to deliver, so cancel-led the order and went out to have food. This whole food at doorstep was not entirely bad thought. We did order coffee which was delivered in 10mins and that was good, both in terms of quality and service. We stayed there just for one night and the small flaws in the room didn’t bother us much except for the plug point situation. Overall it was good, except for these little quirks, it was a pretty good place to stay.

It was good. Price was affordable, but a little high. Weather was hot, so it was a bit uneasy to live without a/c, but fresh cool air was flowing from outside during night. Room & bathroom were clean & all amenities were available. Morning complementary breakfast was great, both in quality & quantity, really enjoyed it. Tv was there, but limited channels were available, mostly in tamil. Good shops are available nearby & main road is also near. Overall, a good stay!

The Hotel Meyyappaa is located in the heart of the city and closer to all important cites. The room is clean and service is good. The Hotel Meyyappaa employees are very polite and treat the guests with dignity. The Hotel Meyyappaa does not have a restaurant. The complimentary breakfast was brought and served from a nearby restaurant. The break fast must have more items and water bottle served with the breakfast was charged extra

The Hotel Meyyappaa have lift. The rooms are spacious and clean. Hot water is not available. Good restaurants are reachable by walk around 1km distance. Good Hotel Meyyappaa for family and couples.

Hotel is located centrally. Maintenance is not upto the mark. Free water flow is not there in wash room. Water gets stagnated and goes slowly.

Nice and clean room at affordable cost. Great ambiance. They also provided us the necessary kits when we checked in

Overall the stay was good

The rooms were clean and tidy. Convenient location. Parking space for 4 cars available. Overall good stay. . Don't expect 3 star or 5 star. But it's ok.

It was good experience their. Good support from staffs. We really like the stay in this Hotel Meyyappaa. They are organizing travels in reasonable cost.

Good stay in the karaikudi town. The meyyappa suite is great for family. Accessible with all facilities near by

Affordable stay in central of the city and in main road, well maintained rooms and good car parking space
