Hotel Mount Siniolchu

This is my second visit to this Hotel Mount Siniolchu - I had come twenty years ago when it was called Siniolchu Lodge. The location is wonderful and the room overlooks the Kanchenjungha. The Hotel Mount Siniolchu is also five mintues away from the serene Enchey Monastery and conveniently far away from the noise of the town centre. The staff are courteous and helpful and the food is among the best in Gangtok. There was no a la carte option but the buffet was good and reasonable. The rooms are nice - we stayed in the heritage rooms and with their wooden flooring and panelling, they are beautfiul to look at .. The wi-fi, unfortunately, did not work throughout my stay and the cable tv was not available from the second day onwards. We had our own Internet, however, so it was not a big problem.

The Hotel is a good one but staff of the Hotel are needed to be more responsive in respect of addressing the problems as reported by boarder. Two electric bulbs at the corridor beside my room were out of function and inspite of submitting complaints to the reception and and other staff the problem was not addressed.

Nice & Quiet location, staff are very cordial, rooms were clean, breadth taking view of Mount Kanchenjunga range from the room. Good variety of foods and tasty. Nearby Enchy Monestry is an added advantage I would recommend it to anyone visiting this place next time.

Loved the location. A bit away from the hush of the market and still close enough. Rooms were nice but the location was the hallmark. I think it's the best in the city. Would recommend it to anyone who goes there.

Food is good. Hotel is costly. Nice view of mountains from rooms.

Location is very nice, away from hussles ambience is good. Service is quick. Food quality & taste and cleanliness is well maintained. Relaxing stay.

They need to improve their buffet breakfast menu otherwise everything is perfect.

As per location and view of property is concerned it's better than many fair resort in Gangtok.
We liked the furnishings of room, wood work. We dislike basic needs in bathroom were missed.

Great view and gardens, comfortable bed, helpful staff, especially the accommodating kitchen team. Pity that the plumbing had so many issues water running out, septic smells. Otherwise delightful.

Very good Hotel Mount Siniolchu, near to MG marg you can walk down. Good food. Awesome hospitality.

Nice stay, it had a big garden. The welcome was good. The service was fast and good. Hospitality was good too.
