Hotel Mulberry

The one thing which I see first in the room is toilet before rating the room I go and see the toilet and only if it is clean then I go for the room, as far as Hotel Mulberry mulberry is concerned they have a very clean and hygienic toilet... Coming to the rooms I will rate them average because the room in which I lived was not the worth of 2 k, the bed was comfortable services were quick and with a smile. Overall appearance was good. But still it is not value for money it is overpriced may due to the location, Free breakfast experience : Though through MMT it was my first booking after a very bad experience with OYO. Hotel mulberry gives the best free breakfast buffet that I ever had, which you will never get in any of the OYO rooms. I don't know this free breakfast is MMT or mulberry Planned. But I will say for this they deserve 4 star, 1 star less due to variety in breakfast. View from the window; no this not that kind of Hotel Mulberry where you will get a nice view. Location: very easy to reach take a taxi (Rs 200 from Howrah and santragachi in Ola) say Maddox square or ritche road. Or the cheapest is take metro (15/ Rs form central )get down at JATIN das walk 1 km in hazra road to reach ritche road or you can take auto rickshaw too. (8 rs share auto or 30 full) Nearby places: ask google will help

The location was average with easy availability of cabs but lack of shops, eateries or tea stalls nearby. The rooms were excellent and as shown in the pictures. Daily newspaper. TV was problematic with the cable always having weak signals. The service was good with daily cleaning. Birla Temple is nearby (2 km). The complimentary breakfast as well as other items in the menu were tasty and reasonably priced. The staff were courteous. The one and only downside was that everyone right from the gate keeper to room service to even manager was always asking for tips. That's such unprofessional at so many levels. The manager already overpriced the bills and MMT said was to be collected at Hotel Mulberry) by about 100 rupees. Even after that he himself authoritatively tried to take 80 rupees as tip from the change due to me. I mean come on, to give tip or not is solely at the customers choice. Besides room service is asking tips for cleaning the room, gate keeper for opening doors. Ufff it was too much. Apart from that issue everything else was good for me and as expected.

The location is somewhat posh. Beautiful Bengali colonial architecture in the street to the west. Medical shop, Chinese restaurants nearby. There is a multi cuisine menu as well in-house which I did not try. Good food joints two km away after Jaihind Dhaba. There is always home delivery. The staff are courteous and prompt. Good value for money I suppose given the location in the heart of the city. Ideal room for two. Any more and it might feel cramped. North facing rooms don't have a view to boast but the bathroom window view had beautiful local laundry lines. There is a spa with discount rates for occupants which I could not check-out. Over-all good experience. Clean towels, toilets and newspaper.
The staff are courteous and friendly. Room service was good. Rooms are spacious for 2 people maximum.

First time I have visited to Kolkata and I have booked this Hotel Mulberry. Its location is very good. I enjoy the park facility which is located in front of Hotel Mulberry. Rooms are some what quite small But its decoration is good. The hospitality is excellent. In the morning one girl I. E hospitality staff call me for extension of the stay her voice are so sweet and her way of speaking is soft I like it. I am thanks to her for her good hospitality and helps. Over all Hotel Mulberry is better.

It was a very good experience in staying that Hotel Mulberry. It is one of the best budget Hotel Mulberry in that area. But, the rooms are not big enough. Otherwise, the Hotel Mulberry has very neat & clean rooms, bathrooms, Lobby etc . Food quality & Quantity are also good. All the staff of the Hotel Mulberry are well behaved and their appearance are very polite as well. Room services are very prompt . Overall, it was a very comfortable stay in that Hotel Mulberry.

Good location, friendly staff, room size congested, staff behavior good , service timing is good, not satisfied with food, WiFi was not working properly, quilt or blanket was without cover.
Quilt was without cover, room space too small and congested , insufficient space. Not satisfied with food, room was not ready at the time of check in instead of late check in.

The Hotel Mulberry was a great find as my first Hotel Mulberry stay in the city. It was centrally located and most of the tourist places were never too far from the Hotel Mulberry. The staff were very courteous and helpful. The rooms were clean and the food was respectfully good. An awesome place for anyone to stay in a budget in the middle of the kolkata city.

This is my 6th visit of this Hotel Mulberry & 1st through MMT I have a nice experience as their services/behavier Are excellent &house keeping is also comendable I am again going to stay there for 3days next week Though I visited several star Hotel Mulberrys in the past but I still recommend others to stay there & enjoy the hospitality

Staff is so good and friendly I recommend 100% to stay hear and the place is very near to everything.

Very nice Hotel Mulberry location is also good, staff is also helpful only need to be changed is blanket cover it is not proper. Otherwise my stay was nice next time whenever I come to Kolkata I preferred Hotel Mulberry mulberry.

Average Hotel. Ac is not working properly. Bathroom door is not properly locked.

Pretty good stay. The Hotel Mulberry was decent given its price range. Rooms were clean. Room service was good. Room attendants were cooperative and gave preference to special requests. Only concern may be the food. Its average and can be far better. For a budget stay you can opt this Hotel Mulberry.

Rooms were exactly as in the photos, room dining menu has a lot of choices, the staff were helpful and courteous, and the Hotel Mulberry is not hard to find.

Clean and nice place food quality and quantity is not that much good and expensive also. So dont buy food yeah breakfast was good
