Hotel Nehrus

Hotel is located exactly on dal lake in dal gate area. Many Hotel Nehruss and series of house boats situated in that area. Good vibes in atmosphere. Hotel is one of oldest in srinagar. Renovation happening. One service i like to mention about is the facility of electric blanket. Totally satisfied. Hot water was not coming from electric geyser, on complain they started boiler and extremely hot water started coming. Complain totally resolve. Towels provided in room were clean and white. Staff and service reasonably good. Garden facing room are much better. Room are big and spacious. Anyone like to stay in middle of town in prime location can surely opt for this place.

It was a nice stay at this Hotel Nehrus, very well located Hotel Nehrus with all facilities available. Well behaved staff and ample parking area.
Lake view room was provided despite having booked the garden view room which was quite nice of the staff, overall the stay was comfortable, the food was very tasty and was served instantly. Breakfast was also arranged early on my request. Location is blissful with Dal in front of the Hotel Nehrus.

It's a good location opposite shikara ghat no. 14 - bit away from the crowded part of dalgate area. Rooms were clean. Had not a good experience with below points, needs improvements : 1. Laundry was returned unwashed, didn't notice during delivery as it was ironed well. Complained to reception the next morning during check-out who passed the buck onto the housekeeping staff. 2. Travels guy didn't turn up and had to manage with other options.

Hotel Nehrus located on the verge of main Dal Lake and its branch narrow lake where all the important entertainment activities are going on. It is situated on the Ghat no. 14 of Dal lake. Only demerit of the Hotel Nehrus is its charge of WiFi which is Rs 50 for each 225mb consumption which is more costly than our expectation. I never seen to charge so much amount for WiFi. Maximum other Hotel Nehruss are providing WiFi free of cost.

I stayed in mid of may with my family with threelake side rooms. Stay was good as location was very good the breakfast they provided on first day was like a waste from dustbin but they improved after complaining they did listen to our complain that was remarkable but they served only one dish in breakfast for rest of two days for vegetarians rest everything like hospitality polite staff location everything is good and safe

I stayed here for 3 days. It is located right opposite to the famous Dal lake. The Hotel Nehrus staff never provides complimentary breakfast before 9am. So if you are planning to visit Gulmarg, Pahalgam, Sonmarg, you would definitely miss the complimentary breakfast. The Hotel Nehrus staff keep saying that the breakfast would be ready by 07:30 am but it will not be provided till 9 am, at least.

Located at the end of Boulevard Road. Hotel Nehrus is perfect & safe place to stay around Dal Lake in Srinagar. The Shikaras, the houseboats, good restaurants (vegetarian) shopping etc all nearby. Best thing was the early morning walk along Dal with locals or just walk upto Shankaracharya Temple (5. 5 kms) on hilltop behind the Hotel Nehrus for bird's eye view of Srinagar.

Location, location, location. Exactly opposite to dal lake floating post office. Busy area, wonderful view of house boats and dal lake from the rooms. Lot of shops and eateries nearby. For location alone this property can be considered. Apart from this, it's a very old property, amenities were below basics. Minimal varieties in breakfast. Staffs were o. K.

Trip to kashmir was wonderful, particularly to doodhpather in kashmir. The staff in nehrus Hotel Nehrus was courteous

The location for nehru is awesome and hospitality is good. Bathroom can be improved as it’s very basic

An excellent location, right beside dal lake on boulevard road. A true value for money. Very cooperative staff. Ample parking area was also available. The complimentary breakfast was also wholesome and adequate. Recommended for all families.

I would like to give full points for location. Otherwise restaurant of the Hotel Nehrus is not properly maintained. Extra bed means extra mattresses. No wifi facilities provided. Evening reception needs training.

Hotel location was nice but facilities was missing like room heater. Service was prompt. Good for single accommodation. Room was small for families. Front desk was formalities. Food was good. Need to add more in menu. During breakfast some short of heater is required specially in winters.

Nice food. Good location. Try veg thali, stuffed paratha normal rate is 2500, but mmt showed increased fare 3760 rate varies as per days

Excellent stay, homely environment, staff were very polite and helpful. Food was good, serving of food is fast. It's just beside dal lake gate no. 14, the Hotel Nehrus has a beautiful lawn with a big china r tree.

Kitchen was closed due to some reason

Awesome location. No need to book a houseboat ... Nice view from the room ... The rooms were clean. The staff were cooperative, though the breakfast provided was average but it was value for money.

I told them to provide me gst invoice, but they did not while it was written on my mail that they would provide me so.
