Hotel Ninamma

Location little far from MG Marg about 10 - 15 mins walk but unless it is raining it is managable. Quality of food is nice but the free breakfast menu is very common, puri bhaji and paratha in regular basis. WiFi only available in the lobby. Rooms are good, specially view club rooms are specious and nicely furnished. Managers and staffs are well mannered but surprisingly not fount any body to carry luggage while checking out. Room service quite prompt. But if you like to order dinner, definitely all order must be placed before 9 p. M. Even if you think to have one more chapatti and the time is 09:01 p. M, surely you will not get it. Anyway, I had a nice stay with this Hotel Ninamma. Overall experience is above average. I must appreciate about one thing that they have not charged any money extra for my seven years old boy. Other wise I had to pay from 200 to 500 rs in all other Hotel Ninammas in Darjeeling, Gangtok, and Siliguri.

We enjoyed our stay here. The room is exactly as shown in pictures which doesn't happen often. The room had a wonderful view which totally made up for the small size of the room, but no complaints as it was clean and well maintained. We went in August which did not need fan as the weather was cool enough. The stadium in front of the Hotel Ninamma property was an added bonus for some football entertainment. The staff went out of their way to accommodate all our needs and made prompt calls to ask if we needed dinner. The staff was very courteous and helpful. And the breakfast was so very homely and personally attended to. However, we strongly suggest exhaust for the bathroom which was the only downside to the otherwise awesome stay. Would definitely recommend this Hotel Ninamma for stay. Cheers!

I stayed in the Hotel Ninamma with my family and had booked the best room they had: Club Executive room. The room was decent size and had a sofa in it. The room was very clean and all the promised amenities were provided. The breakfast was simple but tasted good. The only con for this room was that the view of Kanchenjunga was not clear because of a tree. The simple club rooms were also of same size but looked more spacious because of the orientation. Also, they had an unobstructed view of Kanchenjunga. The Hotel Ninamma is about 1km from MG Marg with steep slope on half of the route. While we walked to MG Marg on all 3 days it might not be feasible for people with toddlers, joint pain and other health issues.

This is a relatively new Hotel Ninamma, so rooms and corridors quite neat and clean. About 7mins walk from MG Marg, but although access is from a relatively narrow and busy lane, the rooms offer superb views, and I was lucky to see the mighty Kanchenjunga from my bed itself. The large floor to wall windows make the valley view even more appealing. Staff are friendly and try their best to help. Breakfast spread is not too elaborate, but freshly prepared and served with a smile. Overall good value for money - short walk from the MG Marg, but offers much better views compared to the ones on MG Marg itself, most of which just overlooks other buildings or shops on the bustling city centre.

Room was very good. View from the room was excellent. Staff are also very good and prompt services. Thanks to Mr. Dinesh Subba for his co-operation. Overall have a very pleasant stay and good memories.. Rooms are clean though and the geysers were very effective, which is a must in a hill station. Location is great, a short 10 minute walk to M G Marg. Wi-Fi coverage was excellent during our stay. Now, I come to the worst part. The restaurant. The service is horrible and they take an eternity to serve even basic orders. The buffet breakfast was pathetic. If you have food from outside, this Hotel Ninamma is a fine choice. Great value for money overall.

The Hotel Ninamma is situated at a great location. You can easily travel by walk to the nearest MG market. The connectivity to the all the prime location is best from the Hotel Ninamma. Below is a taxi stand which takes minimum share fare Rs. 10. The room cleanliness and housekeeping is to the mark. 24 hours hot water. In room food is the best and value for money. Service is excellent. Nice staff, they do it from their heart not just because its their work. Only drawback is the breakfast food quality they should improve. Awesome experience with this resort. Excellent service provided by all the staff. The most wonderful thing is that they never say no for anything you ask for. They are always at your service to meet your every need. They are very courteous and well mannered. If I ever think of Gangtok again my first preference will be this resort for accommodation. Last but not the least just experience once the magnificent view of Kanchanjangha lying on your bed from the room of the resort. It has even beaten Tiger Hill in this regard.

It was a WOW experience for us. The rooms were just the way I saw online. A well-maintained rooms for a budget Hotel Ninamma gives the experience of luxury rooms. Loved the view from the room. Location is brilliant. Walkable distance to MG road & many other where you would like to spend the evening. The staff is courteous, helpful & genuine. They were prompt in every request we had. Thank you very much guys. You were brilliant. Hands down it is definitely a recommended Hotel Ninamma in Gangtok.

Hotel located 15 win walking distance from MG road. Room was very spacious (Executive club suite). View was superb from the window. Food is average but not bad, yes quantity is less. Staff are very supportive. Clean.

The Hotel Ninamma is clean and located close to the MG marg. The rooms are clean with decent view. The Hotel Ninamma staff members are excellent. They are extremely polite and helpful. My whole trip was organised by one of the staff members Normal. His service was flawless. Gesture shown by the Hotel Ninamma staff Sanjib Kumar the and others cannot be neglected.

Really a good experience, we initially booked for 2 days but eventually ended up staying for 3. Location is just 2 minutes away and I loved the view from room. Staff is really helpful, be it helping out with local taxi or other tourist info. All in all of course it's good value for money.

Complementary Breakfast is quite good.Regular lunch/dinner is not up to the mark. Cleanliness is appreciable. Manager is so helpful.

The only con I can think of is the location of the Hotel Ninamma. It's around ten minutes walk from the main shopping area that is MG road. Otherwise I found the Hotel Ninamma real value for money. The rooms are clean with good room service being done everyday. The staff is good and courteous. I had a really good stay here.

Hotel is at the fine location close to SNT bus station 20 Mins walking distance from MG marg and has got good view from the window. Rooms are bit small but very clean. Foods are also good but not very variety. We could not get the lunch as we ordered after 2 PM so need to be careful about timing.

The Hotel Ninamma location is very near to the main market (MG Road). The rooms were neat & clean. The view of the room was good and could see the stadium right in front of the window along with the mountains. The Hotel Ninamma staff arranged cab pick & drop from airport and for sightseeing also. However, the cab driver misbehaved with us one day. Otherwise, the Hotel Ninamma staff is very helpful and friendly. Also, the food menu could include more north Indian dishes.

Very nice experience with Ninamma Hotel Ninamma. Our room was upgraded as we had to change the date without additional costs They have kind and helpful staff. Very good view of nature and football stadium. Accessible to MG marg.

Very good location and easy staff. Value for money is highly appreciated. Staff was helpful to suggest about the tour packages and share their expertise about the most adventurous north sikkim trip. Rooms are in good and new conditions, food has a scope of improvement.

The location of the Hotel is good, 10 mins walk from M. G marg. Views of the mountains from the Club room are excellent. The staff is caring & responded quickly to our requirements. Overall a very good experience ..

There is No House Keeping service after 5. 30 PM and before 9 AM thus despite repeatedly asking of tea bags, milk pouch were not provided beyond this time staff, veg food preparation was average, while staying you will feel confines in room as neither there is any activities room, nor any garden, nor any balcony, nor any lobby where guest can relax. But Hotel arrange good transport service for Guests.
