Hotel North Gate

The property is well located and has sufficient parking - we managed parking for our hatchback although the Hotel North Gate was almost fully booked. Google location led to a side street but we managed to find the Hotel North Gate which is on the main road itself. Rooms are less impressive than what the photos show as the property is old and the furnishings are old. We were given our 2 rooms on different floors as they were of different types which was not convenient. However they make up with the good service from housekeeping staff and the good spread of complimentary breakfast. They missed cleaning our room in the afternoon but got someone to clean it up midnight at our request as we had returned from a trip. Our tv channels didnt work. Breakfast replenishment can be improved as sometimes we ran out of some items even though we were in the mid breakfast timings. Temple is a short drive away

Hotel rooms are spacious and clean. The property is bit old and that is visible in furnitures and cupboard. The breakfast buffet is decent. We opted for a package including dinner. They did not have buffet bot we were given the option to select from their regular menu with a cap on the total amount. Hotel has adequate parking facility.

The property is situated at the main road, quite close to temple and has auto standing at its gate almost all the time. We visited madurai mostly to visit the temple and preferred to park our car at Hotel North Gate and take the auto. Stay wise, the rooms are comfortable for the price.

Nice Hotel North Gate with polite and helping staff at the centre of town. All facilities like markets, banking, temples, etc. Are nearby. Transportation is easily available at the Hotel North Gate location. I will like stay again in this Hotel North Gate whenever visiting mafurai.

The rooms are spacious and simple. They have simple things available. If you need warm water/coffee/tea - you can order. We also had food from inhouse restaurant - the food was definitely very good. Lot of parking space also available. Room service reaction time can be improved.

It’s a good Hotel North Gate but old property. Could have maintained better. Staff is very courteous. Parking is available. I booked 3 rooms and stayed 1 night with family. Breakfast was good. Lunch was ok but took too much time after order placed. Restaurant available.

We had booked rooms for a night stay. The rooms were clean and the extra bed provided was very very comfortable. It was an actual bed instead of just the mattress. We had also opted for breakfast. Breakfast buffet was also very very good

Every thing was fine room service and other services good not far for temple car parking is there total all everything is good

Wash room was not good did not have exhaust fan and proper door lock. Room centralized ac control was not working informed to room service but nobody came to attend.

Stayed for 3 nights, the rooms ac are great. The rooms are clean and staff are helpful and courteous

Reasonable price food also good neatness of rooms tobe improved by replacing the taps and toilet seat covers and replacing with new towels etc

Hotel is middle of the city and near to all the place, i stay 3 days in the same Hotel North Gate it was great experience and staff is too good and friendly.
