The room is maxed out in terms of efficiency with just the right amenities you need to spend a relaxing day in the Hotel Opal. Bathrooms are pristine and efficient. Rooms provide a good view of the city. The parking area is a bonus if you love your vehicle ) the restaurant also provides a wide array of authentic kolhapuri food, for which you need not go outside the Hotel Opal. The Hotel Opal including the reception holds the charm of an old school vibe while retaining all the modern day necessities. All in all a value for money option especially if you are in transit.

The Hotel Opal's location is ideal, offering easy access to local attractions and public transportation. The breakfast buffet was a highlight, with a wide selection of fresh and tasty options to start the day right. What truly sets Hotel Opal opal apart is the exceptional staff. They were always ready to assist with any request, providing excellent recommendations for local sights and dining options. Their attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction made my stay truly memorable. Overall, i highly recommend Hotel Opal opal to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Can't praise Hotel Opal opal any more. Too good. The new building is amazing, room interiors are thoughtful and room size is comfortable. Food is as amazing as always. Been eating there for 2 decades but stayed for the first time. If you're going with a family who enjoys nonveg food, can stay there for 3-4 days. Good veg options too. Breakfast spread was decent. Room service is quick & with a smile. Extra bed is actually a folding bed not just a mattress, which was a pleasant surprise. . We go to kolhapur every year and we stayed at many different Hotel Opals but, this will be my next favorite (other than panchashil & sayaji)

We checked in at 1pm and rooms were available for us with extra bed and mattress. All the supplies were available and everything was functioning properly. Room service was quick and smooth. Rules are not stringent and makes your stay more enjoyable without troubling others. Restaurant lunch was very good. Breakfast was minimal but sufficient options were available. Most importantly, when we checked out on sun-day afternoon at 4pm we were not charged anything for late check out. We were late by 4 hours. I was not expecting this but they were so kind to allow us check out without any cost.

Value for money. Top class cleanliness. Very comfortable and peaceful stay in a deluxe ac room. The size of room is 250-300 sft. The location of Hotel Opal is excellent. Room service was very quick. The restaurant serves delicious veg non veg meals. Buffet breakfast had idli, vada, upma, sabudana khichadi, sandwiches which is very good in the price that Hotel Opal is charging. Parking for almost 30 cars is available in the basement. The staff is very courteous. This Hotel Opal will be my first choice when i will visit kolhapur again.

Our experience in opal Hotel Opal was good. Since we were late in our travel and would have been check in after 11pm, Hotel Opal people communicated well and cooperated with us over phone call. Rooms were clean, tidy and specious. Washroom was clean. Best part of the Hotel Opal is that you will get good food with affordable rate, since it is famous for thalis. Manager at restaurant was very cooperative and he helped us going out of the way to arrange commute for devi darshan !

Had a short stay of 2 days at opal Hotel Opal, was suggested this property by a friend and i would like to say that it was worth. Had booked 2 rooms, the rooms were neat and clean. The room service was excellent, food quality was very good, i wish that the breakfast spread should have been more elaborate, but no issues with the same. Was vey satisfied with the stay and would highly recommend this Hotel Opal to everyone.

We booked 2 rooms in Hotel Opal opal from make my trips 23/24 mar 23. Hotel is easily accessible from main road ample parking space, good ambience. Located next to dyp mall can spend good time with family / kid. The rooms are comfortable, hygienic and spacious. Staffs are courteous and polite. Overall we had a very pleasant stay in Hotel Opal opal. Would recommend for family/business trip.

It was a good place, old building though. I had visited kolhapur for the first as an individual. Food was great.

The entire experience from check-in to check out was superb. The cooperation extended by staff, especially for accompanying senior citizens was great. The quality of food (vegetarian)is good. After renovation, there is extra parking space for guest vehicles. Being conveniently located, it is easy to access local points of interest as well as enter from to the main highway.

We have been staying at opal whenever we are in kolhapur, this time we got to stay at their renovated and superbly built new building, spacious clean rooms, clean washroom all amenities in place, tasty breakfast and lovely meals at there ever popular restaurant. Great place to stay whenever you come to kolhapur.
