Hotel Pondichery

We traveled as a family and booked executive AC room. Hotel is situated in the "Bussy Street" main road. Pros: Approx 1 km to White Town and Promnade. Room is clean and spacious. Parking lot is in the basement and can park max 4-5 cars. Breakfast is veg and they serve buffet with idly, dosa, poori, tea/coffee and on Sunday they include bread and omelette too. Tasty breakfast, if you love south veg foods. Overall good stay and value for money. This place is good for people who spent most of their time outside, sightseeing and use Hotel Pondichery only for taking rest. Cons: Rooms are looking old and can be maintained little more. Bathroom linens are very old.

We stayed here for 2 days. The Hotel Pondichery room was quite big and neat. The interiors were quite good and the bathroom was fairly neat with geyser facilities. The only drawback was the breakfast provided. It didn't taste good at all and the coffee tasted abysmal. My husband even told them that the milk was not boiled enough and the same type was served the next day. The attached restaurant (where they serve the breakfast) was too good. We enjoyed the food. The seafood platter was good and worth the money. The crab lollipop was top-notch. Overall good stay.

We had a pleasant stay here. Breakfast was really average. The receptionist Saravanan was really sweet and provided all the facilities we had asked for. Rooms exactly look the way shown in pictures. The bathrooms were a bit stinking. Room service was really good This Hotel Pondichery is very near to rock beach (just 500m). If you are planning for a budget trip then this is the best place to opt for. But beach resorts are much better even though they are a little expensive.

Overall I liked my stay at Sumith. location is best, every place is walk-able. They have limited parking but that is a boon in that neighborhood, where all the car were parked on road. Rooms were better than Ginger. they need to spray some fragrance in lobby area. breakfast is South Indian but good in taste, if you grab it early. Breakfast timings are from 8-10 Am. restaurant food is good and rooftop bar is also a + point.

Good location with underground car parking, spacious room with 2 split ac and spacious toiletries and well sanitation with calm ambience. Service offered restaurant and bar available in the ground floor. 300 m walkable distance to beach and located in prime location

All important tourist spots and govt. Offices are in close proximity. A lot of options available for food in nearby restaurants. I had an early check in and the Hotel Pondicheryiers have accommodated it without any charges
All staffs were wearing masks all the times and ensures the social distancing even during room services

Hotel is good and room was big, but some places room painting gone and wall paper also please check it one's. Bathroom also clean. But from sink some smell is coming, area is super staff also good, very fast service, Rock Beach just 500 meters, everything nearby totally it's good Hotel Pondichery.

The Hotel is located nearby most of the tourist location. They also accommodated our early check in and later check out with a minimal cost. The buffet breakfast could be managed better. Sometimes you will have to wait for refill. Otherwise a decent Hotel nearby most of the attractions.

There is no room service for breakfast

The Hotel is centrally located and at a walking distance from a lot of sites. They also have car parking. The staff is extremely helpful and the restaurant has good choice in food.

It is near to Rock Beach Around 500 meters. Well maintained rooms. Morning breakfast is good. They have many varieties. Dinner rates is also nice.
