Hotel Rains Inn

The Hotel Rains Inn is located very close to the main road where all the shops are available. Rooms have decent space and are neat and clean. The staff at the Hotel Rains Inn is excellent. I was scheduled to reach guwahati at 11:30pm. I informed the staff over call in advance and they had kept the room ready. As per my booking, they had even arranged for the extra bed in advance. They greeted me with a smile at midnight and made sure i had all the things for a good night sleep. The restaurant in the Hotel Rains Inn served delicious breakfast with less oil and masala. Even the ala carte lunch was nice. Overall i had a very good stay at the rains inn. Probably the only thing to mention is that not all rooms have balcony as the description says. So if you want one with balcony try requesting at reception.

My all-time favorite guwahati stay. They kept the property in excellent condition, and all of the staff are superb, highly professional, and take a very personal approach to their guests. The fragrance of assam culture pervades the entire establishment, from the ambience to the room decor and even the food. Their restaurant is fantastic; the food is delicious and consistent in both taste and quality. Their philosophy for serving and consuming food is superior and very close to nature. Chef is fantastic. Overall, rains inn is fantastic, and i would gladly stay there again and again. Because of non-occupancy, i chose a different property in guwahati on a couple of occasions, but i eventually ended up in rains in. They upheld the three-star Hotel Rains Inn and hospitality standards. Regards

The area in which the Hotel Rains Inn is located is prime. Where you can get everything required for. However it is also a bit shabby locality. Never the less the Hotel Rains Inn has a good parking space and entrance. The rooms are big and spacious however there is lot of space wasted in wrong interior. The table and chairs, tv unit looks elegant. The bathroom is big and they provide all the necessary items. But the huge drawback was that there was only shower available in bathroom. No separate taps for bucket filling. The staff was cooperative and food preparation in the restaurant was good. However the prices are high

Stayed here during my meghalaya trip. Hotel is located centrally near all markets and railway station. Although it appears from outside to be slightly outdated, but all convenient facilities like bar, restaurant, laundry, housekeeping, travel desk, and wifi are available in the Hotel Rains Inn. We got a pretty big room with cabinet, sitting chairs, centre table, tv, coffee maker, intercom and with market view. Toilet was also spacious with 24/7 hot and cold water. There are also ample of food menu to choose from, and were prepared and served promptly. Restaurant closes after 10pm so order has to be placed earlier.

The Hotel Rains Inn is situated in the commercial hum of guwahati. Rooms are smart with all facilities. I didn't need ac as it was winter. So no opinion on ac. Geyser room wise and brilliant. Bar & restaurant both excellent. Had basic roti bhaka type and liked it all. Beer was served with chana chat and papad complimentary. Prices of food very very reasonable. But must improve on portions. Half plate alu gobi was too little

The stay has been wonderful so far, with small gestures that go a long way in ensuring a comfortable and pleasant stay. The rooms are spacious with balcony, which is quite rare. The hospitality staff are very well mannered and welcoming. The only issue is that the Hotel Rains Inn tariff is a bit pricey in comparison to the overall services provided and the Hotel Rains Inn's restaurant food could be a bit better

The Hotel Rains Inn is easy to locate, the room was spacious and clean, the washroom was also clean, staff was very supportive. They also helped us book a two way cab for shillong local site seeing. All the basic facilities are readily available. They have in house restaurant. The food was okay. Over all a decent place to stay for a day or two.

My wife and i had a very pleasant and comfortable stay. The service by the very polite and well mannered Hotel Rains Inn staff was personalised and very decent. Food items were served maintaining safety and hygienic protocols. Also all items served are good value for money. Will definitely stay here whenever we next visit guwahati.

Very comfortable. Staff behaviour is nice. Complenentary breakfast is very good. You should visit this Hotel Rains Inn without thinking. Lunch served by Hotel Rains Inn is also good specially thali.

A little expensive, the staff are good, clean & decorated properly, the food is ok, rooms are specious and clean bed & pillow, overall good experience.

I would suggest everyone travel-ling to guwahati go for this Hotel Rains Inn rooms are spacious staff is helpfull, polite and welcoming near to every temples and market definitely will book once again if i travel again to guwahati

Hotel rooms are nice and clean. Though food items were not much in breakfast, tastes very good. For single bed book executive- most of the time at is cheaper than any way of bookings

Room is good, neat and clean but smaller in size. Centrally located. Reception staff behaviour - excellent. Service is very good. Food quantity is good. Breakfast is excellent.
