🍽️ Food The food was excellent! The complimentary breakfast was the highlight of my stay — you could order anything from the breakfast menu, as many times as you liked. Lunch and dinner were also satisfying, with a good variety and taste. 📍 Location Perfectly located in the heart of Puducherry. Rock Beach and other famous attractions are just minutes away if you have a bike or car, making it super convenient for sightseeing. 🏨 Accommodation The accommodation was above average. The room ambience felt a bit old, but if your goal is simply to rest, refresh, and enjoy good food, this place works well. It’s functional and comfortable enough for a short stay. 🙍 Service Service was the main drawback. Room service required multiple calls to reception — usually two or three times before someone responded. This was a bit and could definitely be improved. ✨ Overall: Great veg food and location, decent accommodation, but service needs attention. Recommended if you’re prioritizing food and convenience over luxury.

Good thing first, there is at Centre of Pondy and you get Parking inside the hotel premise. The Rooms , furniture etc are old school type , ie not modern , also the Restaurant closes at fixed times, so you cannot expect Tea , coffee , snack via room service or directly after 10 PM night etc. Over if you want a budget stay without much experience from the Hotel room itself you can book

Great location. Central and easy access to anything in Pondicherry. Would find it difficult to rate this hotel even as a 2 star facility. Such a shame for facility in a central location in Pondicherry. Facility needs a complete upgrade. Lack of vision on the part of the owners.

The hotel entrance looks elegant, but the room interiors are old and not up to the mark. Old AC, age old switch board panels disappointed a lot. The hotel location is very close to the French colony, Rock beach, promenade beach and many other locations. Food in the Mayura restaurant is Okay.

Taps are old and giving trouble. Reception is ok. Can be bit more clean.Breakfast is fine. Catering staff are friendly. Food is also tasty and hotel is clean and tidy.

I booked a Triple Deluxe Room and the hotel being more than 40 years old, surprised us with size of the room....easily more than 700 sq.ft. Comfortable bed with clean bedspreads and linen. The breakfast spread is just wholesome and with good South Indian food varieties like, Idly, Pongal, Poori with aloo masala, cripy vada etc. with a hot, tasty cup of South Indian filter coffee. Worth your money.

Average. Overall its was fine. Complementary breakfast was good. But room maintenance can be better. Ac broke but good they repaired in 1hr but it’s too much noisy. Beds were not properly cleaned there were stains and the switches for the electronics are little old.

Hotel is located in a crowded area , too many horn sound , near by there is a pothys garment showroom to control the traffic police and the garments showroom staff keep shouting in Mike with huge decibel sound making you irritating till 10.30, this is a very old property and not maintained properly, old and dirty place , room service is pathetic I complained and they Said sorry, they don’t check if they have provided toiletries, towels before check-in, we need to follow-up multiple times on this . Food there is good this is the only plus apart from the ample parking space.

it is terrible place no proper beding and it look like old homage, even lift was so conjested i dont know how people will commute with it

Its located in prime location, easily accessible, looks nice from outside and have ample parking space, room inside is old and bit old room smell… if you are looking for a budget hotel to access easily then you can go for it.

The staff are kind and helpful. The maintenance surely needs improvement. Housekeeping will also need better attention.
