The room was spacious considering it being a family room...but no tea/coffee maker available...if u need a cup..u need to wait till 7 for the restaurant to open...one needs to ask for toilet essentials and towels...rooms are not well maintained....the splits acs are choking with clogged filters...making strange noises...the most disappointing part is the restaurant....nobody listens to u there...nobody is willing to take ur order...ur complaints are shown the door...ur frustration doesn't bother them...it is a sheer waste of time and money ...

Positive: A short guy who did night duty at the reception (I forgot his name) was extremely helpful. Fernandez was also helpful. Walking distance from the railway station. Breakfast items like Semia Upma and Uttapam tasted good. Negative: As soon as we entered the hotel there was a stench which stayed throughout. Flies in the reception area. I was charged extra ₹900 just for staying 3.5 hours extra from 8.30 AM to 12 PM (my booking was from 12 PM. No hangars in the room. I had to dry clothes in cupboard doors, door handles etc. I requested 6 hangars and got 4. I requested them to clean the room on my second night there. They said they would come at 8 PM but never came so we stayed in a dirty room throughout. The restaurant was poorly managed (We went for breakfast). There was some item missing always and when they got it then another item would be over. The ceiling plastic broke/tore off one morning and a tube light feel down. Thankfully it was still hanging to the ceiling paper which had come midway in the room. Water was leaking from this place in the ceiling the previous day itself. Extremely expensive food with below average taste for lunch and dinner. Some items in the menu were not available. Telephone in the room wasn't working either.

The property location is very good. Foods are tasty. Service are excellent. All amenities are available. In one word Excellent Stay. Saravanan and Basheer both are excellent.

Rooms and location is excellent, Hotel staff is good but block A is leaking everywhere, Dining area is worst during rainiy season. During rainiy I will not suggest this hotel. Crowd handling could be better. For Summer and winter you can definitely go on odd days. Avoid on Long weekends and festivals

Excellent Stay with Exceptional Hospitality 🌟 We had a wonderful 2-day stay at the hotel. Mr. Jenith Raj, the manager, is an extraordinary and cooperative person who ensured our comfort from the moment we arrived. Every request — whether for drinking water, cleanliness, or timely food service — was promptly taken care of. The staff members were polite, helpful, and always carried a smile. The food from The Curry Restaurant was delicious and added to the overall great experience. The only minor concern was the frequent power disruption, but it was managed well by the team.

I don’t think this hotel deserves to get 1star also. Room service waste. Bathroom condition also waste. It smells very bad.Even they are unable to provide towel also. Only single towel given for 3 person to use. Every corner of the building have the water leakage. Specialy restaurant is in worst case f the worst condition . Staffing shortages food shortage plates shortage. Don’t book such property which just taking money but unable to provide facilities as required.

Our 2-night stay was a mixed bag. The rooms were spacious and big, but housekeeping was subpar, likely due to Diwali staff shortages. The restaurant was a major letdown. Water pooled everywhere during the heavy rain, raising safety concerns. Service was extremely slow, with long wait times for table cleaning, order taking, and food delivery. The washroom area was unhygienic and foul-smelling, with filthy toilets. Overall, a regrettable experience, especially during a peak festival like Diwali.

Bad service no towel such pathetic service even make my trip didn’t help. Property was in a bad shape full rain water inside hotel

It was a great stay here in Rameswaram. I stayed here for 2 nights and the stay was quite pleasant. The hotel is at the walking distance from the station and just 2 km from the temple. Sarvanan really helped me with the sightseeing and guided me throughout. Fernandes and Sarvanan both were great when it comes to hospitality and taking care of guests. I would recommend people to stay here when you visit Rameswaram.

Had a great stay at Rameswaram Grand. one of the best stays in Rameswaram at good budget. Staff was courteous as well. especially Mr. Jenith
