Awesome stay with really amazing and cordial staff. Very well maintained rooms with a beautiful garden and swimming pool up front. We really enjoyed our stay here and did a lot of photos hoots in the garden and by the pool. The staff was helpful and always available. They told us about the places in Udaipur and gave a brief introduction about the city and helped us plan with all the information they shared. They also let us keep our luggage in their lounge for an entire day even after we checked out. We also used their common wash rooms to change and freshen up twice after we checked out and they showed a lot of cooperation. The city palace is just a few steps from this place and there is also a very decent restaurant just next to the Hotel Rangniwas Palace.

The location of the Hotel Rangniwas Palace is nice. It is situated on the outskirts of the old city which is highly dense and quite noisy. So you can easily catch some good sleep at night or stay in bed till late in morning. The facilities are good. It is a heritage Hotel Rangniwas Palace. The Lounge here is too good and stocked with some of the most exquisite books. It has ample amount of sitting available with nicely painted roof and furniture that takes you to the atlas few decades back! The room in itself which we were allotted for double occupancy was small. The bathroom was big and had a huge mirror whose frame was made out of camel bones (one of the style of frames you will get in Rajasthan). The room had old furniture. There was a CRT TV to go with the old look. The bed was nice a cozy accompanied with good clean sheets and duvets. The remote of the AC was not working but we were least bothered as it was quite cold when we visited. The washroom has hot and cold running water however the faucets were a bit old. We never availed the room service or opted for the restaurant as there were plenty of other cheap options just outside the Hotel Rangniwas Palace. But I could see non Indians sitting and having candle light dinner every evening which was a pleasant site in itself. Special mention to the two dogs they have who are cute and usually go around the property checking out stuff!

Owner of the Hotel Rangniwas Palace, Mr. Vikramaditya is a real gentleman. On our first day he said that this is not a Hotel Rangniwas Palace but a house and we will be happy if we consider it as a house and trust us we really enjoyed our stay there, Vikramaditya can teach you a lot of things about mannerisms and history, for example- he actually taught me that you should stand and talk to a women if she is standing, and other things on good manners. Thank you sir. Now coming to Hotel Rangniwas Palace, fantastic Hotel Rangniwas Palace which gives you a sense of living in a haveli, all amenities are there in the Hotel Rangniwas Palace and it is just 300 away from City Palace. Rooms are large and clean, lobby is beautiful, garden is small but beautifully maintained, pool is big and clean and beautiful. Now review of staff, staff is very cooperative and down to earth, they will always help you with a smile and really know how to make you feel like you are the masters (real Rajput tradition). They will guide you as to which places to visit and which can be avoided. Special thanks to mam and both the receptionists. Overall it's the best Hotel Rangniwas Palace which you can find in that budget. Definitely recommended.

The Rangniwas Palace Hotel is Heritage Hotel which is located near to the City Palace. At first look, the Hotel Rangniwas Palace will give you a view of historical place. In the Lounge you will find old items mounted on the walls, it also includes a good collection of books. There is a small lawn in the center where you can enjoy the sunlight. Near to the lawn there is a small swimming pools. All this makes the Hotel Rangniwas Palace view beautiful. The rooms are of old style but neat and clean with all the basic amenities. The Hotel Rangniwas Palace restaurant delivers quality and tasty food. The staff is very coperative. The travel desk was also helpful and will give you clear travel advise. The main attraction of the Hotel Rangniwas Palace is the location. It is situated at 10 mins distance from railways station and walking distance to must see tourist places like City Palace, Crystal Gallery, Lake Palace, pichola Lake including boat ride for Jag Mandir, Bagore-ki-Haveli, Jagdish temple, Rope Way etc. the rest of the places you can cover by hiring a taxi(Rs.1200 apx) or auto-riksaw(Rs. 400 aprx) which is available infront of the Hotel Rangniwas Palace at Rangniwas taxi stand. This concludes that Rangniwas Palace is the nice budget Hotel Rangniwas Palace.

The visit to Rangniwas was a pleasant surprise. I was initially skeptical of staying in a heritage house (because most often they are ill maintained). To my surprise, the Hotel Rangniwas Palace was well-maintained, and had a very calm and serene feel despite of being in the heart of the city. I could spend a lot of time just sitting in the balcony, the gardens and common spaces at a leisurely pace. This place offers you a quiet and classic feel of living in a huge 'haveli' or mansion. The staff was very welcoming and warm in helping out with anything. Most importantly, the small kitchen that they have serves authentic and tasty food which you'll not find in the restaurants. If you're staying here, don't eat out anywhere else. You could just sit back and enjoy your meals in the pleasant silence of this building. The location is another big plus for this Hotel Rangniwas Palace, as lake/palace/gardens are walkable in 5-10 mins. The City Palace is actually just a 2 min walk away. Superb heritage feel Hotel Rangniwas Palace at an affordable price!

Excellent location- City palace, Jagdish temple, Bagore ki Haveli...all are at walking distance from the Hotel Rangniwas Palace ; wonderful staff - we had a warm welcome, 10am check-in time was pretty convenient for us as we reached Udaipur at 8am.The staff at the reception suggested us places and how to reach the same, also gave us a city guide and map for our convenience. They helped in booking out tickets to mount Abu and suggested to leave luggage at their Hotel Rangniwas Palace. On return from Abu as our train from Udaipur to Delhi was in the evening so we could utilize the day time in Udaipur sight-seeing. Decent room- best value for money, spacious bathroom with hot shower facilities throughout; Good food , we had our breakfast and dinner at the Hotel Rangniwas Palace restaurant. Food and service were great with reasonable pricing. Taxi & Auto stand available just opposite to the Hotel Rangniwas Palace. On th whole excellent choice based on location, value for money and service.

It is 5 minutes walk to the City palace, and close to most of the attractions. During check-in, they give a map of Udaipur with tips to cover the attractions and not get ripped off. Lunch and dinner, 1 hour prior one has to order, but Worth the wait because of the taste and hygiene maintained. Absolutely Worth staying at. Beautiful place and the staff is beyond kind and generous.
They nailed their concept of treating us like we are staying at their guest house and not just another Hotel Rangniwas Palace. Their co-operation and generosity, made our stay memorable. The staff even helped us book a taxi from Udaipur to Jodhpur. At the time of check-in, they give you a map and suggest the best way to See the city without getting ripped off. And the coffee you order one, and you get a flask with quantity of almost 4 cups. The homely feel is what made my visit to Udaipur amazing and it's a no-brainier for me to book it for my subsequent visits to Udaipur.

There are so many Best things about this Hotel Rangniwas Palace. Some of them are: its very convenient & peaceful location which can give you access to major tourist attractions. Very well maintained beautiful property. Very well groomed, friendly and accommodation staff members. Excellent homely food of their Hotel Rangniwas Palace that too at a very reasonable price. Very spacious rooms with excellent amenities and there are many good things about this Hotel Rangniwas Palace which makes me committed to stay here again and again. The best thing I noticed about its owner is he does not run this business merely for profit. He believes in higher level of customer satisfaction which certainly makes this Hotel Rangniwas Palace unique from thousands of other options available in the city.

The manager is such a new nice human being that he told me everything about the city on the very first interaction and told us not to waste money on transportation because almost everything is just a walk away from this place. Very nice rooms clean pool and yes good food with reasonable rates.

The prime location of the Hotel Rangniwas Palace was highlight. All major tourist attractions in Udaipur was at walking distance from Hotel Rangniwas Palace. The rooms were clean and tidy. They had their own parking space. Swimming pool was small but clean and it also had beautiful lawn to relax. The food served in the restaurant were good.

Property location and food was quite good. Food was hygiene. But rooms were not that clean.

Excellent place to stay for families at a budget. Room was clean and breakfast was edible. No reason to complain at this price point. I would recommend this Hotel Rangniwas Palace. It delivers on economy stay. Cheers.

Location of palace Hotel Rangniwas Palace is best for travellers keem for walking to atleast 7-8 wear by places like City Palace, Jagmandir etc. Good food complemented with excellent hospitality by owner Mr. Vikramaditya jee Ranawat. Must visit place with family.

Excellent place to stay in Udaipur where you can actually stay in a raja's haveli, good food, very near to all prime attractions.
Everything was ambient, overall was an excellent place to stay at Udaipur.

Overall experience was amazing. The food was good. The best part was the hospitality. I would definitely like to visit again to rangniwas palace for sure. I would definitely recommend my friends to stay in this Hotel Rangniwas Palace whenever they visit Udaipur

Ambience and food are good even like homely feeling but as the service provided to the guest who comes for a pleasure trip should therefore be flexible in terms of food service and time limit. It should be available in the room also
