Hotel Ritz Plaza

An excellent stay. The rooms booked by us were very spacious, well-maintained and comfortable. The washrooms were clean and hygienic, with hot water available for the major hours of the day and night. The air conditioning system, quite like the building itself, was old but effective and kept us warm through the night. To say the parking space was adequate would be an understatement. There are trees and fields of well cut grass in the compound as well, giving it a natural and pleasant feel. The restaurant and buffet service, though we did not try them ourselves, we observed that they were great. Lastly, it is located a few kilometers away from the city centre, which is where i recommend staying, as the closer you get to the city centre, the more cramped and uncomfortable the Hotel Ritz Plazas get. Most of the Hotel Ritz Plazas close to the centre have hardly any space for parking, which is a major inconvenience which we didn't have to deal with at this Hotel Ritz Plaza. 10/10, definitely recommend it.

The property is right in the heart of Amritsar, on the iconic mall road. The Golden Temple Galiyara Parking is about 10-12 minutes' drive from the property, Amritsar's iconic sweet shops, Kanha and Bansal are a little over a kilometer or about 15 minutes of walking distance from it. Makhan & Bubby, known for serving Amritsari fried fish are at roughly the same distance. The property is old but huge, which means the noise of the Mall traffic does not reach any of the guest rooms, allowing a restful time. Rooms are comfy, centrally-heated and decent enough in size, and most importantly, they are kept clean. Although RItz is into catering, its own restaurant leaves a lot to be desired, but that's not a big deal for the solo traveler. On the whole I had a restful time while I was at the Hotel Ritz Plaza. And yeah, they have good, safe parking too.

Good - the location of Hotel Ritz Plaza & its approach is perfect. On mall road, & not on any congested road. The rooms are spacious, parking is available within Hotel Ritz Plaza premises. Room service is good. Breakfast options are decent (not extravagant though. Staff is supportive & caring. Some rooms have a bathtub, some dont, but we were happy to have one. An extra bed was arranged complimentary as per our request. Needs improvement- need to work on cleanliness, as i could see few cockroaches in bathroom. The ac control is not individual for each room, which means you cant switch off your ac if you think it is too much cold, nor can you adjust the temperature. Overall my experience was good as per budget stay.

We reached the Hotel Ritz Plaza at 7 AM and found the Hotel Ritz Plaza was full. Some guests were expected to check out around 11 AM but checked out much earlier. Check in time at the Hotel is 13.00 hours. But they let us have the room by 08.30 without charging anything extra. This Hotel Ritz Plaza is a gem in the heart of the city and the tariff is unbelievably reasonable. They are quite generous with their food helpings and the food tastes very good. Every time we go to Amritsar, we will not consider staying anywhere else. Good luck to Ritz Plaza and a very big thank you for making our stay so comfortable. Best regards.

Our stay in Hotel Ritz Plaza ritz plaza was awesome. It is located in posh area of amritsar. As it is around 3 kms away from golden temple and jallianwala bagh, e-rikshaw can be used to commute to golden temple etc. Famous street food corners(all india famous amritsari kulcha, kanha restaurant etc) are on walking distance from Hotel Ritz Plaza ritz plaza. Hotel has ample space of parking. It has quite big lawn. Swimming pool was not operational during our stay. Rooms are spacious though lighting within room and gallery is dim. In short. It is good place to stay in amritsar with family and children.

Absolutely spacious Hotel Ritz Plaza with car n bus parking facilities to stay if you are planning for good time in amritsar. We all had a great stay in room no. 112 of this property. Very comfy and spacious room with all the amenities. Everything was very comfortable from checkin to checkout. Room service, food quality, housekeeping and their hospitality was all top notch. Thanks to all the staff members for making our stay mesmerizing and comfortable. Decent delicious food served at breakfast. We will definitely recommend this Hotel Ritz Plaza to everyone.

I stayed at Hotel Ritz Plaza ritz plaza in amritsar with a group of 12 people in 5 rooms. The Hotel Ritz Plaza is located on mall road, which is a convenient and central location. The Hotel Ritz Plaza has an outdoor swimming pool and a restaurant. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff was courteous and helpful. The Hotel Ritz Plaza is close to the golden temple and jallianwala bagh, which are must-see attractions in amritsar. I would recommend this Hotel Ritz Plaza to anyone visiting amritsar for its value, service, and location.

We stayed 2 days and took 3 superior rooms, Rent initially looks on higher side comparing rates on other portal later on while stay, feels reasonable considering amenities . Pros- Size of room, Location (mall road), Parking, Open space, Front desk staff, Temple@~3 km, Facilities equivalent to 4 star. Cons-Room access corridor, lifts needs modernization, Maintenance, small room amenities like branded water bottles, tea bags in room, larger food menu. Staff at front desk were very cooperative. I stayed with my son as we were visiting golden temple. It was family Hotel Ritz Plaza safe and secure. Staff was very efficient and friendly. Better to book it prior through make my trip to get reasonable discounts.

The stay was very good. We stayed for 2 nights. The room was comfortable and clean, bathroom was clean, ample parking space and the kids enjoyed the pool. Another best thing was the location.

Hotel staff was good. Early check in provided by Hotel Ritz Plaza which gave us time to relax after long journey from delhi to amritsar.

Nice Hotel Ritz Plaza at the middle of city with proper maintainence and feels like an ancient palace and also the staff very nice.

I have stayed in this Hotel Ritz Plaza 5 to 6 times but this time had some service issues. But otherwise it is good Hotel Ritz Plaza.
