The staff were polite. Generally, helpful but the response times were slow as the number of guests in the Hotel Sagnik seemed to be more than usual when we visited. Food was good. So were the room furnishings. Would bot hesitate to stay here again.

The Hotel Sagnik room which i got was average but the kitchen (food) was very good. Nobody picked up our phone for room service. But food was delivered on time in our room as we had ordered dinner personally at kitchen desk.

Considering the abysmal standards of murshidabad in general, i'd say the Hotel Sagnik was actually nice. The rooms were tidy, the geyser functional and the toilet tidy-ish. Perfect for a single night.
