Hotel Sanman Deluxe

Stayed here in room 105 for 3 nights. I arrived late afternoon and as I had already booked and paid online, check-in was straightforward. The room I got was on the first floor, down a long corridor from the reception. The Wifi is accessible from the reception area, but the signal is too weak from my room for a phone. If you have a laptop, the signal Wifi is accessible sometimes, but slower. However, all this was mentioned in the Hotel Sanman Deluxe booking, so I can live with sometimes working in the reception area. As for the room, it was clean and functional, but better than I expected. The room was a double, but it was really a twin room with two of the single beds pushed together. The mattress was firm and comfortable. Each of the single beds had separate sheets, both sets of sheets were clean, but one looked badly stained, so I just used the cleaner looking one. I booked a room with only a fan, which worked okay. The room was probably still in the low 20s to high 10s, enough to sleep without the covers on. The room also had a TV, a small table and two plastic chairs, which meant working in the room was a bit more comfortable. There weren't any other facilities except a couple of glasses for drinking. No water or any other amenities other than a tower and soup were provided. The bathroom I would as described rustic, but functional. Both the shower and taps worked fine, but I could not get hot water in the evening, which was fine because it was hot for me anyway and I was fine to take a cold shower. All of this was acceptable given that this Hotel Sanman Deluxe is very much on the budget end of the spectrum. The staff clean, tidy the room and bathroom everyday without my having to prompt them, so kudos for that. The staff at the Hotel Sanman Deluxe are all friendly and do try to help, although it's really only the reception staff who speak English. Location wise, the Hotel Sanman Deluxe is reasonably well located. The main bus station is about 50 metres away and it's walkable to all the main sights of the town including Badami cave temples, Badami fort and Agasthya lake. Overall, I had a satisfactory stay and thought the Hotel Sanman Deluxe was good value for money.

It's a budget Hotel Sanman Deluxe so you know what to expect, but there were no precautions being taken with respect to covid, no one from staff wore masks and there was no sanitizer placed in lobby. This said, the room was spacious and the location is very good. They don't have attached restaurant but you can find restaurants in close vicinity, so is the bus stand. Also, the staff is helpful.

I have stayed for one night here. Rooms are small, compact and very clean. It is good for a short stay. Hotel Sanman not having any restaurant, but they provide water, tea, coffee. There are many restaurants around. Don't expect anything fancy here. Only one issue I like to raise, they don't have elevator and it's very problematic for old people.

Sanman is located ideally for a stay in Badami. It's very near to the bus Station and also near to the tourist places. Good quality restaurants and bakeries are literally next door. Hospitals and medical stores are also nearby. The lodge staff was really helpful and quite informative. The rooms themselves are big and airy, which we liked a lot.

The location is very convenient. The tourist spots are in walk-able distance. The hospitality is very good. There is a parking problem, it doesn't have adequate space for parking. There is no restaurant along with the Hotel Sanman Deluxe, we had to go outside, but there are nearby restaurants. Hot water is available only in the morning.

Hotel Sanman is located very near to the Badami bus stand and around 4.5 km from Badami railway station. We had food in the nearby Hotel Banashree Badami. Good food. Hotel Sanman is located about 1 km away from Badami caves. Wifi was not available in the rooms. Wifi was available only in reception.

Helpful staff. Clean and simple room and washroom. That's what one needs. Has all the basics in place. Bus stand is opposite and so are eating places. Value for money for backpackers and those who are not looking for frills.

The property is neat and clean, rooms are big enough and without noise disturbance, Badami caves are accessible by tuk tuk, a hole and Pattadakal can be accessed by tuk tuk or government bus!

Hotel Sanman Deluxe is clean and staff is very cooperative.

For thé price, the Hotel Sanman Deluxe is great. The rooms are clean, hotwater in the morning. The reception is great, the help me to book a cab to visit around Badami at a reasonable price.

The room was clean and location is close to all the sightseeing places. You have food options in walkable distance. Hotel staff are friendly.

We had a nice night. The owners were helpful in searching for tourist rickshaws as well. Hot water was provided on time. Check in check out was flexible. They didn't provide towels though.
