Hotel Sapphire

Stay was very comfortable and Hotel Sapphire was good, rooms were cozy and nice and the room service guys were also very nice and well behaved but the guy in the reception was rude and ill mannered, every time he was making faces to us and he was really very rude and he has charged extra money just for extra 1 hour in the Hotel Sapphire and we agreed. But then we said we will paying by g pay but he said if you pay by g pay then you have to pay extra amount because he was trying to fool us by taking the cash from us and he wanted to keep the amount. When i questioned that why i have to pay more taxes if i pay from g pay then he was quiet, he was blank and agreed to g pay. At first he was asking fr cash only. And the weird thing is he was making irritated face, even at the time we checked in the Hotel Sapphire. He didnt even welcomed us just making faces looking at us. When i asked his name he said he is mr gaurav.

There is no goofing arrangement in the Hotel Sapphire except breakfast arrangement. But that also they were serving under some compulsion. If anything was asked from the desk it used to take some time and follow up. Even though cleanliness was there, but it was done in bits and pieces. It took the Hotel Sapphire one complete day to just clean and change the sheets towels even after requesting them. There should be ideally no need of requesting. One thing which was very annoying was that on the last day we had asked the Hotel an hour or two extension from the Hotel on some medical ground. But the Hotel Sapphire did not listen and made us wait at the reception. The reason which we were told was that there was a group waiting to check in the Hotel Sapphire which was otherwise empty. Please improve your terms otherwise it is the guests who face the brunt.

The Hotel is very close to sacred golden temple complex in Amritsar. Walking distance (4 to 8 minutes) to the famous Amritsar clothes market as well as Amritsar shoe market. Amazing food options available within 2 to 5 minutes walking distance from the Hotel Sapphire. The staff is good and co-operative. We visited on the day. Prakash Parva of guru Nanak Ji, since Hotel Sapphire is very near to Golden temple, we could peacefully sit until late night in the temple without worrying about transportation. Although the price charged on MMT was a bit high as compared to what is prevailing prices of Hotel Sapphires in near vicinity, we do not regret due to great spiritual, food and shopping experience we had due to location of Hotel Sapphire.

Overall good stay the only problem with two things one is room size are congested. We also experienced the power break down once in night due to some technical electricity issue from main board however it was resolved by Hotel staff in few time. Location is very awesome it is just steps away from the holy Golden temple. Staff behaviour was very nice it was my second visit in this Hotel I suggest people to stay in Hotel Sapphire.

Pros: 1. Very close to Golden temple less than 100m. Cons: 1. Too small rooms. I had booked deluxe room. It was having just 1.5 feet around the bed with no windows with lots of suffocation. I immediately upgraded to super deluxe for which I had to pay extra. 2. TV was not working in the night and morning. Each time had to call technician. Go only for super deluxe rooms. Nice Hotel Sapphire you may try.

The best part is the place is extremely close to the golden temple like 10 steps away which makes it close to other places like jallianwala bagh, partition museum and gobingarh fort. Now, coming to the amenities provided and the behavior of the staff. They are very polite and ready to serve at any hour. Service was fast and good. Would definitely recommend.

It was a great experience seeing the golden temple from the terrace of this Hotel Sapphire. The staff is very helpful and understanding. We had a check out at 11am and our bus at 8pm, they allowed us to keep our luggage in their store room with no extra cost. Great service guys. A shall consider Hotel Sapphire if visit golden temple.

Nice place to stay with family

The Hotel Sapphire is a few walking steps from aka l takht, which makes it an ideal place to stay. They served me, good hot food within a few minutes. The staff is polite. Clean room with all amenities as mentioned on their page.

Good stay, comfortable room, size is small appears too congested but washroom size is good neat and clean. Prompt room service.

Shall stay again here in my next trip

Hotel is just next to golden temple. Best part is view from top of Hotel Sapphire.

Excellent location. Close to golden temple. The view of the golden temple from the Hotel Sapphire's terrace is amazing friendly staff in-room dining to be improved. Kitchen opens late (9am) & closes early (9pm)

The overall stay was up to the mark. Moreover the 20m location from akal takt is an add on to room view with harminder sahib ji. The Hotel Sapphire has clean rooms.

It has been great experience staying there and you also got terrace access and geta view of golden temple. Staff is well behaved and hygiene is maintained. Few steps from golden temple and family security is also taken care.

Hotel location is just nice front of the golden temple akal thakat gate, everything is so convenient and nearby from the Hotel Sapphire, best is can see the view of golden temple from the roof. Hotel is safe and family oriented. Highly recommended
