the Hotel Shamyana Opposite Dal Lake is located at just the opposite of ghat 2. the Hotel Shamyana Opposite Dal Lake is a budget Hotel Shamyana Opposite Dal Lake, with very helpful staffs. they will go any length to help you out. Shamyana restaurant is one of the top 10 restaurants in the whole city. so even if you don't stay at Hotel Shamyana Opposite Dal Lake, try food here atleast once during your stay in srinagar. one thing, they serve in huge quantity, so order judiciously. the hygene standard is maintained properly, no issue with that. the only thing, this Hotel Shamyana Opposite Dal Lake doesn't have elevator. So old people may find it difficult to go up to 2nd floor. electricity is another issue in this area of srinagar. 2/3 hrs power cut in the evening is common. this may not be a problem in summar, but in winter, you need AC blower, geyser and electric blanket all running at the same time. the generator installed may have a tough time to take the load. this problems are something Hotel Shamyana Opposite Dal Lake can't do much. whatever issue you may face, will be compensated by the alternative arrangement, good food, and the charming attitude of the staffs. 😊

Well mannered staff in a very comfortable and clean Hotel Shamyana Opposite Dal Lake just besides the famous Dal Lake. Excellent food, though with limited breakfast choices. No credit card payments too. Still, a nice choice for staying in Srinagar with many popular attractions nearby. Highly recommended.
