We went on a family trip to almora. This Hotel Shikhar & Restaurant is good professional one right inside heart of almora city. Below are details. 1) rooms 4/5: rooms are spacious with all required amenities 2) food 4/5: Hotel Shikhar & Restaurant has a good restaurant with all types of food. Items like mutton, fish need to be p reordered 3) parking 2/5: though property details contain parking space available but it’s tricky. As in the parking lot only there are local shops and many two wheelers are parked by locals. Also once car is parked it’s hassle to remove. There is nagar palika parking next to Hotel Shikhar & Restaurant but you need to surrender car keys once you park there. 4) staff behaviour 4/5: Hotel Shikhar & Restaurant staff is good and provides required information

I stayed there on october 2021. The property is in the heart of the main town. You will found all kinds of necessities just within few meters. From outside it might not look that impressive, but once you enter you are bound to get surprised. Its the oldest & may be the largest Hotel Shikhar & Restaurant in almora. Its entrance is from the 6th floor. The hugeness & queer built of the property may force you to think it was converted from a old fortress. The rooms are big & specious with individual balconies. The property has 3 roofs in different floors which are as big as a football ground. You can watch the clear view of sunset in the mountains from there. Food is good & prices are ok. Room services were prompt. Its a must stay which i'm sure going to surprise you.

The Hotel Shikhar & Restaurant is situated in the heart of almora, we visited as a group of 3 persons and opted family suite with 2 double bed and was provided a room with east-south facing balcony. We enjoyed their food, service and the Hotel Shikhar & Restaurant amenities. They are super fast in terms of service and just a call away for anything you ask for. The Hotel Shikhar & Restaurant is located in the main city, so we got to roam in the city and enjoyed local cuisine. I would highly recommend this Hotel Shikhar & Restaurant to anyone visiting almora. Our stay was of 2 days and we covered ranikhet, binsar, jageshwar temple during this visit without any hurdles.

Situated right in the middle of mall road, next to central parking, they have space for parking too. This is a landmark. But, please set the expectations clear with them. We were informed by the morning receptionist that there will be a bonfire in the evening, but the evening guy simply denied. Room balconies are not valley facing, but they have a huge terrace for the perfect view. Room service is good enough. Rooms were clean and they had provided enough quilts to stay as warm. Food is average and pricing is slightly on the higher side. Overall, it's a great place to stay

We stayed in Almora for two days and for one day we booked a deluxe room and the next day a super deluxe room. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The location is right in the main market close to the big bazaar and the local market and close to easy day and a pizza restaurant. The Hotel Shikhar & Restaurant is very clean and the staff is very helpful and polite. Recommend 10/10 on booking this Hotel Shikhar & Restaurant!

Stay was very good, management of Hotel Shikhar & Restaurant was not cooperative, i leave room key from 9 am to 4 pm but room cleaning was not done, again we went for outing at 6 pm to 8 pm and told for room cleaning but again not done. This is negligence of Hotel Shikhar & Restaurant management

Beautiful scenic view from Hotel Shikhar & Restaurant room. Located to nearest mall road. We could access all major points the picturesque view is soothing and the weather is plea-sent we are enjoying our stay in Hotel Shikhar & Restaurant the rates are a bit high service needs to be reviewed

Hotel Shikhar is centrally located which is safe for a Solo traveller like me. Good and polite staff. Reception staff is very helpful. If ever I visit Almora I will always want to stay in Hotel Shikhar. Their dining remains closed on sunday but their food and breakfast is very good in taste.

Its a very good budget Hotel Shikhar & Restaurant, oldest Hotel Shikhar & Restaurant in almora, staff is cooperative, they have parking also, and food is also tasty, they serve in room also. Room on 1st floor has a luxury of a large terrace. Overall happy with my stay.
