Hotel Shiv Sagar

The Hotel Shiv Sagar's location makes it suitable for darshan in Mahakaleshwar Mandir, otherwise it is in a crowded place. The rooms are a bit small and a table is missed in the room. I was puzzled as to how am I supposed to eat my dinner / breakfast? Ultimately I had to spread towel on the bed and had to take my food. No in-house Restaurant, have a menu card of some other Restaurant. I had ordered Punjabi Thali, The quality of food was good (here good means simple, very less oil, like home food) though you may get it cold particularly the Dal and vegetables. Good for people who visit here for Darshan, may not be suitable for people who come for some kind of work and may have the need to work in the room also.

The Hotel Shiv Sagar is located within 500m from the temple but situation away from the bustling main street giving you peaceful time. It is also close to Ram ghat the main bathing ghat in Ujjain. The Hotel Shiv Sagar is fairly new and rooms (esp the bathrooms are very clean). The staff is courteous, happy to help but don't impose too much with their presence. The charges are okay (would say a bit on the expensive side a bit considering the other options in town). Overall a pleasant experience for people coming to get the blessings of Mahal.

The Hotel Shiv Sagar is located at a very nice place. Just a km away from all the major destinations in Ujjain. Railway station and bus stand is also not very far. Rooms are neat and clean and equipped with all the minimum requirements helpful for stay. Staff is very nice and co operative. You can even get car rented for outstation trips to Omkareshwar, mandu and maheshwar easily from the Hotel Shiv Sagar itself. Only issue is restaurant not available but its not difficult to find food nearby. Enjoyed the stay very much. Highly recommended.

The Hotel Shiv Sagar has a great location, with the Mahakaleshwar temple at a walking distance. The staff ensures that all your queries are handled well and you are well taken care of. We had to depart for omkareshwar the next day and the reception guy introduced us to another family with the same plan and helped us share a taxi to omkareshwar. We were given amazing packed breakfast early morning before we started our journey. A lot of good memories associated with the Hotel Shiv Sagar.

I had traveled to Ujjain for Holi-Dhuleti on 12-March. Location of the Hotel Shiv Sagar is very good. It is just walk in distance from the temple. (Approx. 5 min. The Hotel Shiv Sagar rooms are clean. Room size is standard. Some rooms are not advisable for triple occupancy. Breakfast was Good. (Served Aloo paratha, Poha tea). If anyone is attending the Bhasmarti early in the morning, it will be the best option to stay. As you have to report at gate no. 4 around 2 o'clock.

The rooms are near and clean with excellent Sony LCD, s along with all HD channels, New bathrooms, clean linen, good Wi-Fi. Most importantly at a stone throw distance from Shree Mahala Temple. GO FOR IT don't think about it better than Ginger Hotels. Only thing that is missing is Restaurant but they give a good packed breakfast and excellent tea. Am again saying don't think again go for it

Good experience, near to Mahala mandir. Hygiene and service is good. 1)Request to subscribe the live darshan of Mahal in Hotel Shiv Sagar to update. 2)Kitchen & restaurant is not available. You can place the order & same is being provided in room. 3)Hotel provides breakfast from outside as complimentary. 4)Staff is good & supportive, provides the guidance for Mahal Darshan.

We are satisfied with our stay at everything looks excellent during stay. Room and Hotel Shiv Sagar was very clean and staff was very cooperative. Location was very near to temple. Hotel does not have restaurant but order can be processed based on request. We ordered only tea because there were lots of restaurant outside Hotel Shiv Sagar.

It was good. Rooms were clean and near to all major attractions. Ujjain railway station is 1. 5 KM away from the Hotel Shiv Sagar. Hotel staff was okay and happy to help. Overall it was a nice stay. The only issue was restaurant not available inside the Hotel Shiv Sagar. Recommended.

Very good Hotel Shiv Sagar near to temple. Supportive staff and neat and clean room. Value for money and one of good Hotel Shiv Sagar to stay in Ujjain for Magical Darshan. Tea and water is available and on order food supplied.

I stayed in this Hotel Shiv Sagar for 3 days, stay was comfortable and the best part was location which is just 2 minute away from Mahakal temple.

Nice Hotel Shiv Sagar in budget, a very good experience we had. Good location very near to Mahakaleshwar temple and service is very good. Market and railway station is also very near. I recommend this Hotel Shiv Sagar to everyone.

We checked in at 5:00 Pm and went for Mahakal Darshan at 2:00 am when we returned at 7:00 am and thought to rest for time they forces us to check out at 11:00 am as their check out time is 10:00 am.

The Hotel Shiv Sagar is near temple. The Check in Time is 11 am and Check out time is 10 am. This is inconvenient for people who come from Mumbai in the morning. The Hotel staff are nice in accommodating 1 or 2 hrs early. The room charges are slightly high for a city like Ujjain.

Good place to stay with family. Near to temple and very supporting Hotel Shiv Sagar staff.
