The manager explained to us the must visit dieties around the main temple ie the 10 dasa mahavidyas around the main temple. Had beautiful darshan, in the afternoon, night and mornings as it was just a few steps away from the side entrance of the temple. It's located in a very narrow lane and one can reach there from parking lot by walking and climbing some 50 stairs towards main temple gate. Staff are cordial and ready to help. Food is good. From front rooms one can view the main Kamakhya temple and from backside rooms one can view beautiful hills. Excellent stay.

Hotel is adjacent to Maa Kamakhya temple, with an attached pure vegetarian restaurant. The staff are polite and the food is very good. We have stayed for 2 days happily and visited the Brahmaputra River for holy Pushkar bath and gone to nearby temples by engaging a private vehicle and returned to Hotel Shreemoyee Inn Near Kamakhya Temple for stay. Once you reach Kamakhya hill by car, taxi, auto or bus from railway stand or airport, you may contact the Hotel Shreemoyee Inn Near Kamakhya Temple for sending help to carry luggage as everyone has to climb about 25 steps to reach the Hotel Shreemoyee Inn Near Kamakhya Temple. We had booked for four days. This place is just fantastic. It is very close and just adjacent to the KAMAKHYA TEMPLE and next to DHOOMAVATHI MANDIR. Room was adequeate for pilgrim traveller like me. Food offered was a great cuisine, including SOUTH INDIAN. The tasty food and COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST we booked were delicious. Water bottles, towels etc were provided. There was HOT WATER AVAILABLE 24×7. Even the Taxi services for our trip to Shillong and cherrapunji were very good and reasonable. Property owner was so kind. Staff at reception was very prompt in good hospitality. Very cooperative staffs. Room was very neat and clean with all amenities. Bathroom was very clean. Hotel location is just adjacent to Kamakhya temple. Just two minutes away. Food was very good and tasty. Breakfast options quite limited but was good and tasty. Hotel location is ten minutes away from vip parking area. This is the last point car is allowed. From there we have to walk few steps to reach the temple as well this Hotel Shreemoyee Inn Near Kamakhya Temple. Makes the stay heavenly for one who visits the temple.

Having resturant in basement, charges extra. Save time and money for visiting temple. You can start your next day schedule from here only. Only demerit is you need to take your belongings for like 500 mtrs. And that too using upstairs of temple entrance. You can give 100 rs to local to carry your belongings.
