Hotel Silverton (180 lake view)

very terrible experience we had. They will not let you park your vehicle in their parking. You will have to pay 500 per day for outside parking. The rooms are very old and not maintained properly. you will get company of bedbugs in the bed. Electricity will go frequently. Canteen service is very bad. Provided amenities are not working properly. I suggest just go with other good option.

The rooms are dull and have an old interior. food quality is poor. location of hotel is not convenient. It is located on hills, difficult to climb by steps. Although, staff is good & cooperative but interior of hotel is dull & old. doors of rooms, curtains, bed, bedsheet, toilet are old & dull. rooms are clean & hygienic but shabby.

This hotel is extremely poor in every aspect. The bedsheet and bed are very smelly, the bathroom is in terrible condition, and overall cleanliness is missing. I sincerely request management to remove this property from their portal. There is no car pickup or drop facility. Guests have to walk through a very steep staircase while carrying their luggage themselves. Access to Mall Road is also very difficult, as you have to climb up and down from a great height. The hotel staff is rude and unhelpful, and the service quality is very poor. The bedsheets are dirty and smelly, the walls are stained with tobacco, and there are no dustbins in the room. The TV doesn’t work, and when you ask about it, they simply say it’s not functional. There is constant noise from nearby rooms, and it even feels unsafe as staff members seem to peek through the door keyhole. The food quality is very bad, the kitchen and restaurant areas are extremely dirty, and the dishes they serve are unhygienic. Even the menu is written on plain paper, which shows how unprofessional this place is. Please, do not book this hotel. Save your time, money, and energy. It’s completely unsafe and unworthy of staying, especially for families.

The hotel is situated waayyyy up from the mall road .. earlier reviews which i had looked up cautioned about the road as it was too steep and was far away from the hotel too ..turned out that was more than true ! Unless you're a seasoned marathon runner you cannot scale that distance between the mall road and the hotel without stopping to catch your breath at least 5 or 6 times ( forget about it if you're above 50 and not Milind Soman ). The hotel in itself is a total dump, a sad excuse for a rest house : dampness on the walls , peeling paint , old dirty linens , filthy carpets , filthy stinky bathrooms . We could feel the springs of the matresses on the bed we slept on . And i paid a whopping 1800 plus taxes for this cheap one night experience! I've stayed in better lodgings for half the price I tell you ! I'm not a finicky person and I usually don't nitpick but guys stay away from this hotel it's an honest opinion of mine !

View from the property is best............ you can enjoy the clouds on the lake from the room front area.

Amazing view of the lake with good sized room. However, property is old with poor upkeep. Also steep climb from Mall Road on foot and very difficult access for vehicle

Very poor cleaning in rooms and outside of the room. The mattress of the bed is very trouble for sleeping.

Stay was really good, food was also good, staff behaviour was also good.

please do not step foot in this Hotel.. from the washrooms to beds to services.. everything is pathetic.. bed bugs.. mattress hurting ur back.. I did not get a single night of restful sleep.. -10 / 10 ratings

Lake View is perfect. Basic facility like bed and mattress is smelly and horrible.food is not up to the mark.overall i will not recommend this hotel to anybody else.i will give 2 star just because of view.

Photos of the room from make my trip application and actual were completely different . The hotel is 50 years old and rooms are similar. No parking available.

family cottage was good but geyser was disabled,location is uphill so had to climb stairs everytime we went to mall road. staff was polite and helpful if you can manage with treking to reach hotel then views from hotel are awesome

Good staff Good House keeping staff located at very Hight from mall road.. u have to climb at least 100 steps to reach hotel from mall road.. Rooms are ohk but no Ventilation No fan no Laundry are Cloth Drying arrangements
