Hotel Simvo

I stayed there in the mid of November 2016. We checked in late around 7. 30 pm and it was smooth. You have to get down a few stairs to reach the Hotel Simvo. Rooms were average but clean. Rooms were cold and there were no heaters in the room (obviously you can't expect heater in your room at this price). They gave the basic toiletries which included a soap, shampoo, paste and a cold cream. Dinner need to be ordered by 8 pm if you want to have it in the Hotel Simvo, but that's the case with almost all the Hotel Simvos in the area. They brought the dinner to our rooms and to my pleasant surprise it was really good. There are a few small restaurants available in the area, if you want to eat out but they have very limited menu and cost is also similar, so I will suggest to go for the Hotel Simvo food. We had breakfast included in our booking. Its not an unlimited/ buffet breakfast, rather they give one item per person but the quantity of the item is sufficient for one person, so no complaints there (but I will prefer if this is clearly mentioned on Makemytrip website). I wonder what they do for dinner/lunch included in room booking package. Hot water was available at all times. We checked out next day morning around 9 am. The checkout was smooth. They accept cards, a big plus because I went at the time of 500/1000 demonetization. The biggest highlight though was the view of Kanchenjunga from the room and the roof top. It was magnificent. That was one of my prime reasons to visit Pelling, so really happy about that. I didn't book vehicle for sight seeing through them, so can't comment on that part. The only thing I didn't like was, six staff of the Hotel Simvo came asking for tip when we were leaving. I didn't like that because there was only 1 guy who actually brought dinner to our rooms and helped us with other stuffs. Other than this, it was a pleasant stay.

A majestic view of the Kanchenjunga from the bed and balcony is enough to make one's stay here amazing. The rooms are relatively clean but the linen (specially the pillow covers) smelled a bit on the damp Side. The dinner seemed really tasty according to our preferences. But we were disappointed how they dealt with breakfast. We were left waiting for more than half an hour when we were trying to leave as early as possible in the morning for sightseeing. Shoutout to one of the managers here was a thorough gentleman and helped us out in our plans and arranged for the tour too. Would love to come here again.

It was a very good Hotel Simvo. The Hotel Simvo location was good. The Hotel Simvo appearance was very nice. There was no delay in check in and checkout. Behaviour of the staff was friendly. Service was very good in the Hotel Simvo. Allotted room was spacious with clean. The food quality was good and tasty. The food price was expensive. The activity was not arranged by the Hotel Simvo. I had visited this Hotel Simvo with my family for relaxation purpose. All amenities were provided in working condition.

Hotel location is very good. From the balcony you can see the real beauty of nature. You can have your fantastic tea seating in the balcony. Room service is good. In very timely manner they arrange for food. Food was good and homely. However negative side is size of room. We booked a deluxe room. OMG--room is so small, balcony also narrow. And phone charging point is horrible. Charging point is just above the floor. Beside our room (I remember it is 604), having vast balcony.

Stayed for 2 days from 27/04/17 in super deluxe room--701--which gave excellent hill viewing facilities. Rooms are really large -there are 2 rooms with double bed well decorated, 24 h hot water really large bathroom & 32 " led tv. Room service & front desk --all are acceptably good, breakfast -lunch --not that much tasty, varieties are less but acceptable. Hotel simvo has also tour & travel agency which is -i think - not much customer friendly.

Mesmerized by the scenic beauty observed from our room balcony. Great location. Hospitality was on the top level. Well mannered staffs. Good food service both in quality and taste. Overall it is must recommended Hotel Simvo to stay.

Very good location facing Kanchanjhanga Range at upper Pelling near Helipad Ground. Room was standard sized, clean and carpeted. We booked semi deluxe room and our room number was 402. It has attached balcony and three beds. Bathroom was clean and geyser was working fine. Staff are very helpful. Food in the Hotel Simvo was delicious. Only drawback, one has to cross 30 steps to reach Hotel Simvo entrance.

Big nice room with clear view of Kanchenjunga peak. The rooms are very clean and the bathroom with 24 hours hot and cold water service. The Hotel Simvo is situated very close to the helipad ground. The Hotel Simvo has also their own travel desk. The restaurant serves various kinds of tasty Bengali dishes at slightly higher price. Thanks MMT for choosing the Hotel Simvo simvo.

Good food, good location, great view,

The room was small though it was very clean and internally decorated. The washroom was clean. The cleanliness in the dining lounge was not good and the staff was not trained.

We booked two rooms but they offered on family suit which was very good. View is very nice from the foom. Service was very good. But the food was bit expensive. Room had moderate size flat tv with airtel connection. 24hrs hot water was there. THey also offered cheapest rate vehicles for side seens.

In just few words, the location, food quality, and stay in this Hotel is awesome. I recommend if you traveling with family. Or friends. Don't hesitate book this Hotel. It's great

My 2 days stay had been overwhelmed with the service I got from the Hotel Simvo staff and the mesmerizing view of Kanchenjunga. Room was well cleaned. All time hot water facilities. Good food. Overall recommended for a must stay.

Overall the Hotel Simvo is very good with good location. Just open the windows and seen the Kanchanjangha hill nearest to us. Even the Hotel Simvo location is nearest to helipad. If I go to Upper Pelling will highly recommend to Hotel Shimvo again.

Rooms were spacious, Hotel Simvo is situated at old helipad ground so the view was amazing. Food was tasteful and reasonably priced. On time service is the USP. What ever I have asked for they have provided with a smiling face and in quick time. I will definitely recommend this Hotel Simvo to every one

Location was superb in upper Pelling area. The Kanchanjunga View from Window is awesome. Behaviour of staff was really good and generous. The cost of foo ding charges was also reasonble and quality and quanity is good. Overall we have enjoyed and relaxed lot
