Sweet experience - outside well maintained property. Direct access to the beach. Friendly and well behaved staff. Immediate resolves of problems. Breakfast quality is good and sufficient options are there. The restaurant team is clear about their products. The property maintained privacy and safety. You may enjoy with your family or loved ones without worrying. Sour experience - room is not spacious as compared to price. The bathroom is not sound proof, you can hear inside sound from outside the room (common passage) vis-a-vis. Bathroom cleanliness is not up to the mark. There was a mouse in the room. Food is a little overpriced (personal opinion. The restaurant team lacks coordination. Swimming pool cleanliness is not up to the mark. Not related to me but overheard during check in, one guest is complaining about food quality (smelly fish fry and hair in food. The approach road towards the Hotel Sonar Bangla Mandarmani from the market is in pathetic condition (not related to the Hotel Sonar Bangla Mandarmani, but very much relevant). No nearby market available. Bit far from the main beach (biswa bangla globe. Nearby attractions - red crab beach, udaypur beach, shankarpur beach, new digha & old digha (around 20-22 km) suggestion - (personal opinion) check in time at the Hotel Sonar Bangla Mandarmani is 1 pm. , which i think is a little late for those who come from far away at night and they will be exhausted until they get a room unless there is a vacant room available. If it can change around 10/11 am it will be helpful.

Resort ambiance is good. Lot of open space and children play area. You won't find such open space in any other, i feel. Staff behavior is very good. Weekend is very much crowded which i don't like, but other days is very pleasant. I stayed thursday to sunday. Breakfast area is horrible for saturday & sunday. You won't get space to sit down, no plate. But if you wait sometime then it's ok. Food is costly. Beach is easily accessible, in front of the resort. No crowdy, but beach in mandarmani is not good as in other beach. It's look like mudy water, you can't bath or enjoy, no waves. After the evening during high tide, we can hear sea waves and it's almost in the resort peripheral boundary. Room is costlier. Standard room is in ground floor, i was in this room, not happy at all. You can hear all sound from outside or either way. Bathroom window at top is open whose face in the common lawn. No exhaust fan. Deluxe room is in first floor, premium room is in first floor swimming pool view, platinum room first floor sea facing, super delux is below the platinum room. Happy with my child who enjoyed a lot due to her playing activities.

It was a nice comfortable stay. We stayed in room no. 8 located in ground floor. The room is quite big for 3 including 1 child. It has balcony. Sea is visible from the room. The room and washroom is clean enough. The room service is great. The lawn is well maintained. The ambience was great during evening. We enjoyed our evening snacks and tea in the lawn. The lawn has a play area for the children. Our child had a great time there. The food quality is average. We didn't like the complimentary breakfast buffet arrangement. It was so crowdy. It was difficult to get seat during peak hours. I shall avoid room with complementary buffet next time. Another problem was mosquitoes. The house keeping provided anti mosquito oil and also sprayed in our room on request but still it was very disturbing during the night. Otherwise it was a very enjoyable stay.

Hotel is located beachside with private acess to beach which is a beautiful location...The property is well maintained with good garden area to enjoy your evening with your family....the pool is also well maintained... resturant food quality is good with quite some varieties...though the morning buffet was okeish I guess, maybe needed a few more variety ...rooms were clean & maintained...overall a good staycation @ Hotel Sonar Bangla.... The event organised by them on 31st was also okay...had better expectations but didn't stand upto it... I would recommend the Hotel Sonar Bangla Mandarmani to other travellers 👍

As a resort its superb, children play area and pool are great, for a full indoor stay in a resort by the sea beach its a perfect destination. Outdoor facilities very well maintained. Food ordered at restaurant is good and the restaurant ustomises food as per customer needs. However the buffet breakfast is not upto the mark, have scope for improvement. Rooms housekeeping os good but old rooms needs renovation for furniture and bedding material even in bathroom facility looks old. Would rate the Hotel Sonar Bangla Mandarmani stay as little pricey as the facilities are old. However outdoor amusement is excellent

We had an enjoyable stay at this Hotel Sonar Bangla Mandarmani. This is our second time and we found the food better. The room we hired is spacious with a big bed, big sofa and other furniture. The sea facing balcony is wonderful with a lush green lawn and palm trees just in front. Stuff are very helpful. Break fast spread was huge and delicious. They locked the gate to sea for safety of boarders as the waves were choppy and savage due to monsoon. There are lots of benches to sit beside the sea and admire the waves safely. It was a wonderful stay and i would stay here in future visit to mandarmani.

Including room, cleanliness, food, staffs behaviour everything is top class & worthy, just rooms are not so spacious & over-priced

We have stayed with family and children. Children friendlier Hotel Sonar Bangla Mandarmani. Provided us the room 3 hours before without any charge. But unfortunately we have provided very boa-ring room

Me and my family stayed in delux super ac room. We had pleasant stay over there. Staff behaviour is good and they are very helpful as my husband was wheel chair bound i got all type of help from them. I just have one suggestion to clean the front portion of private beach access as it does look nice for the guest. Rest all is good. I must say that complimentary breakfast was very good
