The sonar bangla is an excellent Hotel Sonar Bangla Darjeeling situated in the bustling mall area, just below the gleneries. Service is superb, no extra charges made for room food services, the kanchanjangha facing rooms are just amazing. Full marks for cleanliness, decor and hygiene. Washrooms are clean and provided with all amenities. Food is simply excellent. Only improvement point i would suggest is that the rooms do not have a wardrobe. Also the rooms are pretty small, due to which we were bound to scatter all the woolens and clothes all over. Rooms size - can't be done much about. But definitely there is room for a wardrobe in each room. The tv can be easily shifted to an adjacent wall giving space to a wardrobe. I found it really necessary. It gives a very homely vibe if you are in search for a good bengali Hotel Sonar Bangla Darjeeling. Staffs are courteous, smiling and swift in service. Will certainly visit again.

location was really good. all the staff of the Hotel Sonar Bangla Darjeeling are really prompt and helpful. rooms are clean. geyser, electric kettle etc are readily available in each room. they also have facility of bed heater. room heater is available but chargeable, they have provided us room heater free as we have 1.5yr old infant with us. they have provided complementary mineral water bottle, 2each day. delicious fresh food. complementary breakfast option is too good, varieties of food options was available there. we stayed standard double bedroom basement floor. only drawback - no parking is available there. overall pleasant stay

The Hotel Sonar Bangla Darjeeling is just behind glenary’s and a 5 minute walk to mall. View from the 3rd and 4th floors for rooms facing the kanchenjunga is magnificent on clear sunny days. The restaurant serves great food and staff is very courteous and attentive. The area where they need work is better housekeeping and ensuring curtains and bed and quilt covers are clean. The bed warmers in winter are a plus that they have are a plus for a cosy and warm sleep.

Excellent location, very near to mall road. Hotel staffs are very well behaved and always care for guest. Food quality and quantities are excellent. I have stayed there with my wife for 3 nights and enjoyed bengali foods. Well appreciated. I highly recommend for this Hotel Sonar Bangla Darjeeling. Space in room is slightly tight but quite manageable. If a small cupboard can be provided in room which will help everyone to manage in a better way.

In this Hotel Sonar Bangla Darjeeling, the bed cover sheets were also very dirty, i told the Hotel Sonar Bangla Darjeeling staff about this and they changed it, the Hotel Sonar Bangla Darjeeling staff are very polite behaviour, it is very difficult and costly to get a room during holiday vacations. This Hotel Sonar Bangla Darjeeling does not have parking, i would recommend to arrange parking in advance.

The Hotel Sonar Bangla Darjeeling location is excellent and very close to mall. Food in the in house restaurant is good and cheap. Breakfast menu is good with lot of options. The room size is on a bit smaller side but can understand the space crisis in darjeeling town. Kanchanjunga is visible from some rooms and balcony at the end of the lobby. Overall i had a good experience staying at sonar bangla.

beautiful property…with neat and clean rooms. restaurant serves excellent food at quite decent prices. complimentary breakfast could be a little bit better in terms of variety. the staffs employed are well mannered and helpful. a solid 8/10 from me.

Best location. 1 min walking to Mall road. Just behind the Glenarys. Staffs are very much polite, helpful & caring. I book 3 bedroom suit. very specious & well maintained.

Very nice Hotel Sonar Bangla Darjeeling. Location very close to mall road, back side of glenerys bakery. Taxi stand is adjacent so you need not to worry about sight seeing.

Nice but there is no lift. I have to climb 5 floors every time. Otherwise the stay was nice and good service.
