Property was not bad but cannot justify the amount they are charging for the stay and the restaurant is very expensive and not up to the mark as per the food price,

A great property on the banks of River Rupnarayan with well maintained greens and ample space for sports, fitness, fun and adda. Rooms are spacious with stunning views of sunset. Food options are great in both the restaurants. Ample space for car parking and nice accommodation for drivers.

Property is well maintained with spacious-rooms having River view.However food quality is absolutely not upto the mark. We had ordered bengali cuisine during lunch which was good but the snacks in the evening was not good at all- frenchfries were overcooked leaving it very hard ,Gandhoraj chicken was bitter , and even the chinese dinner lacked quality and taste. Hence request the management to take necessary action to maintain food quality. I believe only bengali cuisine is good , hence staff should be trained to prepare other cuisine which are listed in the menu

Location: superb👌 Food: superb( little bit costly) Amenities: superb. Services: very good. ( valet parking service can be added since it’s a premium property and parking lot is far from reception)... suggestion: more playing items can be added for childrens.

Very well maintained, good location, courteous staff. Food quality can be improved. Trees in front of the rooms obstructing the river view. Some rethinking can be done

The staff was very cordial, well behaved. Food was good. The rooms were very clean . I had taken my elderly mother. Wheelchair was available to me throughout my stay. However continental food was missing. Lunch was Indian but tasty. Wonderful stay.

Hotel is in good location but staffs don’t maintain proper time. I was initially denied checkout due to non availability of staffs to clear pending bills at 7AM in the morning.

Stay was great. Hotel Sonar Bangla of Kolaghat must be appreciated as a nice hotel with remarkable elegance and gloss. Rooms, restaurant, food quality, behaviour of the hotel staff, the ecstatic greenery -- everything is praiseworthy. But one regular practice in the hotel was not at all liked by us. That is the non-stop music and songs played in gigantic sound boxes from morning to night.

Weekend trip after a hardworking week , the stay was relaxing, nice ambience with natural beauty of greenery all around , seating along the riverside with a chilled beer and soothing music was the ultimate relaxing moment. Thanks to the management for maintaining the property so well.

It was a good stay. Good facilities and proper infrastructure hotel. Located just beside the Ganges and the swimming pool is very good.

The property Sonar Bangla kolaghat after renovation looks really good ,we enjoyed the big swimming pool and all aspects of the renovations
