Hotel Sonar Bangla Kolaghat

I had a pretty good stay here. The rooms are spacious and well maintained. I had opted for ac premium room which had the river view and that was a good decision. The view is too good. The Hotel Sonar Bangla Kolaghat spans over a large area which covers kids area, games room, a spa, a temple, swimming pool, a small walkway along the river bank, spacious gardens with swings and an open sitting area close to the river. The serenity of the river and the peace that it brings is worth experiencing. The staff is also very friendly and prompt at rendering services. The only downside is the food which i found to be average and disproportionate. Also now, lot of renovation and construction is going on in the property due to which it is dusty at some places. The restaurant is also closed. So they deliver food in the rooms which i found to be a bit messy. All in all it’s a good stay

Location- Excellent just beside the river Rupnarayan. River View from Room - Unobstructable view from top floor. Amenities - Good Staffs behaviour and services - Very good. Price - Both room and food was overpriced. But Food taste was just average, after few suggestions it turned to be just good. Exception was more from a franchise like Sonarbangla. Overall Stay Experience : It was a nice weekend trip of one night stay, pleasant river side view, beautiful lawn and playground, clean swimming pool, Well behaved staffs, good property!

The property is very calm and comfortable. The ambience is very good. Neat and clean. The rooms are very spacious and with all modern amenities including google tv. Rooms are renovated recently and this having a very good vibe. The place is very neat and clean and everything is available in the property.

Nestled along the banks of the rupnarayan rier, the Hotel Sonar Bangla Kolaghat offers a natural serene and relaxing atmosphere which is perfect for a weekend getaway or a short retreat from the city of kolkata.

It was a nice experience. Staff were really good. Property is neat and clean. Taste of food is good. Park, swimming pool everything is well maintained. Highly recommended for weekend relaxation.

Very good location by the side of river. Pool is clean . Service was prompt . Food taste was good by prices were on higher side.

Breakfast is not up to the mark. Menu is too less. No variety. Starter served was also not good enough.
