Hotel Sownthariyam

We stayed for couple of days as family. There's nothing bad to say about room and parking but twist comes on food/meals. I booked with 2 times meals per day. Following is what happened. They give food token of their Hotel Sownthariyam which is on same campus. They give token only for adults and not for kids. I went with my 2 kids. This was not mentioned/explained anywhere on company site. Food for the token limited with their predefined menu. For example for breakfast they gave 2 idly 1 dosa 1 poori and tea/coffee per token. You will be served as one among the normal customers of that Hotel Sownthariyam. Basically you have to eat what they give otherwise you can go out to other place for food. Conclusion room is indeed Worth but I will not suggest food option.

Palani, being a small place I wasn't expecting much from the Hotel Sownthariyam guys. But to my surprise, this was the best Hotel Sownthariyam I stayed in my last 12 days of trip. Very clean and need big bathroom. From outside looks like ordinary Hotel Sownthariyam, but from inside looks like luxury Hotel Sownthariyam. Keep it up guys.

We stayed in executive triple ac suit, all the amenities are all superb. 24x7 hot and cold water is the plus. Restaurant go-wry shankar is in the same premises & teast also ok. No hassle in check in and check out formality. Overall it's really worth for the amount you paid. I will definitely stay here for my upcoming trip.

The room was neat and clean as were the toilet and bathroom. But it was a little small. Room service was good so was the food from the Hotel Sownthariyam owned restaurant. Overall a good stay. Would recommend. Was a little far away from the temple but that also is an advantage in one way. Away from the sound and noise.

Rooms were comfortable. Had a good stay for one night. Bathroom needs an exhaust fan. Little odour felt. Hot water was available. Hotel does not have a lift but since we were accommodated on ground floor there was no issue. No restaurant. Since Hotel Sownthariyam gowri krishna is at the front there was no problem.

Hotel Sownthariyam was a pleasant experience. The location of the Hotel is very close to the railway Station and Palani temple. The in house restaurant provides very tasty vegetarian food. Rooms are extremely comfortable and well maintained with prompt room service. I recommend this Hotel for future travellers!

This place is super fantastic. Staff is really great and their service is commendable. Room servicing, cleanliness, spacious room, safety and the location fantastic and simply super. I recommend this Hotel Sownthariyam to everyone
Fantastic place and location. Everything was of top. Much recommended.

Best place at best price. Though a 10 min auto ride distance from Palani temple, the Hotel Sownthariyam was a fantastic choice for family and the room service was top notch though there were some minor hiccups which are forgettable. I recommend this place 100%.

Had a one night stay. Room and bathrooms are clean, had big parking and near to bus stand. Only drawback is it don't have lift. If u are coming with elderly, pols consider this

Sawnthariyam is a good budget Hotel Sownthariyam, good value for money. Rooms were clean about 2 km from temple food at the restaurant gourikrishna. Just at the entrance was truly amazing.

Thanks for the great facilities, hospitality and guest friendly staff and management. I suggest anyone to blindly select this Hotel Sownthariyam without any feedback. But one suggestion to management please prefer all television channels instead only local channels.

The staff were polite and courteous

I booked 2 rooms, AC rooms. Rooms were tidy. So no need to elaborate on the cooling. Staff was courteous. Their veg restaurant, Gowri Kkrishna served tasty and value for money food. Its a average rating Hotel Sownthariyam with good facilities. Great.
