Hotel Suba Palace

This is a very good Hotel Suba Palace near colaba causeway and gateway of india. Location : 5/5. Excellent location. Everything is walking distance. Note that the Hotel Suba Palace is shown slightly off on google maps, but its very close. Suggest Hotel Suba Palace to update that to precise location. Service : 5/5. Super, excellent service. The staff is fantastic. Everyone was very cooperative, helpful, smiling and catered to our requests day and night. Room quality : 5/5. Very nice room, excellent king sized bed, comfortable mattress and pillows, very good ac, tv etc. Hotel provided coffee, tea sachets and gave more when we asked. Sleep quality was excellent, no external noise or disturbances. Bathroom : 4/5. Very good bathroom, clean towels and sufficient toiletries. They give more stuff that is provided on request. Only minor improvement required is that shower area water spreads to the wooden floor because there is no shower door. But that is very trivial issue. Food : 4/5. We took buffet breakfast and dinner. Buffet spread is limited for breakfast, with only eggs in live counter. One day they had sausages, second day they didnt have that. Parathas, set dosa, bread etc, some canned juices, yughurt etc were there. Pancakes were there second day, but not that great. Dinner buffet was very minimal, with only one non-veg item (chicken) in main course. Starters were provided separately in the table ( chicken tikka first day and tandoori second day), but it was limited one plate per person (generally buffet automatically means unlimited, hence that was disappointing. Chicken biriyani on second day was very dry and the only non veg item in buffet menu. Naan breads were very good. So dinner buffet is sort of expensive compared to the menu.

This is a beautiful Hotel Suba Palace, the rooms are well sized, well equipped and beautifully maintained. As always the staff are universally excellent, friendly and knowledgeable. I came here with my wife and Gateway of India is just a walking distance from here. I will be back yet again for sure.
One of the best Hotel Suba Palace near gateway of India and Hotel Taj Mahal Palace, the best thing is it's perfectly safe for families. I stayed in Hotel Suba for more than 4 days and it was perfect. Value for money and to be honest I checked a lot of Hotel Suba Palaces reviews before going to Mumbai, and Hotel Suba a is worth for money.

Hotel and staff were wonderful. I felt that room could have been cleaner. We arrive at the Hotel Suba Palace at around 8. 30-9. 30 am. But unfortunately we had to wait a while for a room. Although the check in time was 12 noon, we took into consideration that we were leaving the Hotel Suba Palace at 6. 00 am the next morning. We asked the attendant at reception if we could have continental breakfast, as we were going to miss the next days breakfast. We were unfortunately refused. And I felt that not good consideration or thought was given. We paid for a room that included breakfast. Hopefully, better consideration be given the next time.

1) Hotel Suba Palace rooms were very good, clean. In most of star rated Hotel Suba Palaces, there is no open-able window, that suffocate us. But, here in this Hotel Suba Palace, there was a small open-able window. This made us breathe very well. Hotel may consider this, as one of the important features. Even mmt should put this feature in selection criteria 2) from Hotel Suba Palace manager to waiters, sweepers, driver, guard all were very well mannered. They allowed pure check before 2 hours happily without any extra charge. Their food quality was also good. Though they may improve in it.

This is one of the best place to stay in mumbai. I rooms are spacious with all the required amenities. The best thing about this Hotel Suba Palace is people who manage this property. They are very courteous and helpful. Breakfast is also good, have plenty of options for vegetarian food. The location is great, gate way of india, Hotel Suba Palace taj is and colaba causeway market really close to this place. You can get taxis easily from this location. I wanted to say thank you to this Hotel Suba Palace management and all the people working here. Our stay was awesome.

Nice facilities. Nice stay. Good staff. Would definitely recommend to others. It’s a great place to stay. Staff were friendly caring and pleasant, starting from the reception. Meals are very good and delicious. Rooms are warm while outside is very cool. Well maintained hospital. I highly recommend the Hotel Suba Palace for locals and foreigners. I would probably choose Orient Hotel Suba Palace next time as I have experience warm welcomes of the staff, excellent service and pleasantness of Hotel Suba Palace crew.

This is a lovely small Hotel Suba Palace just behind regal cinema. Central location, minutes from both the gateway and Colaba. Very efficient friendly and helpful staff. We had a good room looking out towards the yacht club and the Taj tower. The attached toilet is well provided and everything works! Breakfast was from an excellent spread at the buffet fresh fruit, choice of cereals, South Indian food, North Indian food, Western food, and eggs to order. Ideal place for a short break in Mumbai.

The location is Gateway of India, but obviously it is not adjacent to Taj Palace. It is in by lanes and you need to go in circles to arrive there, partly because of Mumbai road and partly because your driver don't know the address. Once you reach there, you will like the place. Good Hotel Suba Palace staff, okay room and nice food. You can walk to Gateway of India and nearby places. Looking at everything, you will get your value for the money you will spend.

Gateway of India at 2 mins distance, staff was courteous, complimentary breakfast spread with omelette, toast on demand, room space and ambience, clean washrooms. Felt very safe when I stayed alone. Easy access to atm, taxi, even cobbler. Will recommend and love to stay again !

It is value for money as it is located at the best possible location, all the famous places, eateries are located at just stone throw away. The staff is polite ... The ameneties are OK ... They need to work on their brekfast option
