Hotel Sumi Palace

We had a wonderful stay here and we even got tailor made staple bengali food! It was a fabulous experience. Rooms were adequately spacious with great lighting options. It is located near the New Bus Stand which makes accessibility that much more easy. The restaurant is very good and very reasonably priced. We were 7 adults and 2 children and were billed hardly 1100 to 1400 rupees for lunch and dinner. Although we checked out by 3pm, we requested for dinner to be packed for us to pick it up at 7. 30pm. We want to thank the reception staff for putting up with our requests, the restaurant staff for being patient with our requests and opening up their conference room for our group to whip up the tailor made bengali dishes - aloo chokha and posto (khus khus) bata (paste with mustard oil)! Our final thank you is reserved for the fantastic GM who made our stay so nice through options and alternatives to whatever we requested for. We are not only recommending the Hotel Sumi Palace here but even through all our Whatsapp groups. We hope to return to this Hotel Sumi Palace sooner than later!

I had a late night bus from Tanjore to Coimbatore. Even though the bus stand was 3-5 mins away from the Hotel Sumi Palace walking, I requested the Hotel Sumi Palace to send someone with me. And they did the room was clean, bed was comfortable, bathroom spacious. Will stay at the same place next time.
I stayed at Sumi palace for a day. Checked in early and left late night on same day. The staff was cordial. Food was good, except hot and sour soup too spicy for my taste breakfast had good options, Biryani was also delicious. Hardly a min walk from new bus stand where my bus from Bangalore came. Easy access to auto s, cabs was also there I had a late night bus for Coimbatore and the security guard walked me till the bus stand and made sure I boarded my bus safely. Deeply appreciate that. I couldn't speak any Tamil but they made me feel comfortable.

I was received well with receptionist, they were so nice, the initial process was so quick, the room is spacious what you paid for it, simply it was a great stay, Mr. Vasu did a great job, keep it up guys, small suggestion to a management is that a curtain colour and material. Kindly go for a thick and dark colour curtains like maroon, navy blue, and so, I love to drive night time and I always take a nap in day time while traveling, since I was traveling to Velankanni, I stopped here to take a nap, due to curtain it was too bright and I couldn't able to sleep for Long time

Stay was good. Location very near to new bus stand surrounded by lot of food options. Food in the Hotel is good. Some more involvement of the staff is required. I have booked stay with breakfast. But due to name confusion they said food is not included in the booking. After clarification they accepted and apologised. Male staff good. Lady staff should be taught to do their job only and avoid their curiosity. Quality of the dustbin to be improved. Inspite of the above it was safe and good stay. Would certainly recommend to others.

Excellent and a great stay, Extremely courteous staff, neat lenins with clean towels along with very hygiene rooms, its just awesome and I strongly recommend this place to anyone who would visit and will choose to stay with Sumi every time I visit. Yet, one recommendation, ZD please do have other language channels in TV. It's just Tamil and none other than that :(. Thanks for the great experience . You guys Rock !!!

We took a double deluxe AC room. Really it was very nice. Location, food, room service, cleanliness everything was excellent. Its a very suitable stay for family people. I wish you would maintain the same quality for ever. Regarding the menu they informed me well in advance and also they called us when it was ready. Safe place for family to stay.

Very good stay, good staff, very helping and calm .. Good value for money .. It's equavelent to 3 star Hotel Sumi Palace .. Was scared before reaching how it will be, it completely met our expectations with respect to clean and standard. Decent food, need to add more list to get food section. We stayed for two days. Prefer everyone to stay here.

Hotel have decent parking facility upto 5 cars and 15 to 20 two wheeler. Many good restaurants are close to Hotel Sumi Palace. Like Annapoorna and Ariyas. Very well connected to main highway, palace, temple are very nearby. Good thing is the toilet are clean, housekeeping, front desk and security staff are cooperative.

The Hotel Sumi Palace is in a good location. Staff are polite and courteous. Room was very clean and neat but I didn't get the hot water in bathroom as needed. Restaurant is ok but need to be improved.

Really it is a good room. Services also nice. No problem to stay. Location is also near bus-stand. ATM available near Hotel Sumi Palace. Good room service. Food also good and we enjoyed. Locker was not worked except that everything is OK. Breakfast was very good. Restaurant is Reasonable price.

No compliants on our stay as well as food ... Complimentary breaskfast was tasty though limited options .. Whatever they served was served hot! I had dinner as well in here which was also good! They have car parking but could get problematic if too many people are staying! Cleaniness of the room was good as well

Nice dainty place. Very close to the new bus stand of Thanjavur. Less than 100 meters off the bus stand. Near a market place. So there are some options for food nearby. But staff is friendly and helpful.

Rooms are good and well Worth But food was not good and i'm not satisfied with food taste and menu s in morning tiffin which was accompanied with complimentary.

Good for family staying and good ambience

The Hotel Sumi Palace is located very close to the new bus stand and has easy access to wide roads. However, the Hotel Sumi Palace is some 7-8 km away from the big temple. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Overall a good stay.
