Hotel Sunset

I stayed in Hotel Sunset along with my family in December 2016 and I must admit that this is one of the most fantastic and memorable experience, I had in my recent past. I would highly recommend this Hotel Sunset to everyone who wants to experience warm hospitality in beautiful Orchha. Location - walking distance from the center of attractions at Orchha. You do not need any other means of transportation for exploring Orchha. You can also get 360 degree picturesque landscape of Orchha, from their roof. Room - It is a small Hotel Sunset (now adding up more floors) for the budget people, serves well for the backpackers. Room was big enough for three people to stay (they had arranged on extra cot for the third guest). Attached bathroom was reasonably big with own geyser which means you would get hot water whenever you need - this is a big advantage for people like us who needs hot water in odd hours. I have heard they are now fitting geysers to their other rooms as well. It was worth for the price I paid - value for money. People - Although there is no price attached to the behaviour of the Hotel Sunset people - but without mentioning the warmth I have received from these people, this review will remain incomplete. My train from Khajuraho reached Orchha 9 hours late. Not only, they had arranged my pickup from Orchha station ( 1 AM ), they had also arranged my dinner. Yes, I had to contact them over phone and requested for these additional services and they happily provided it without any complain ( as the train was delaying, I was not able to pin point my expected reaching time at Orchha) with very nominal fee. Great experience. I would definitely visit Orchha again and stay here.

I stayed here for 4 nights, travelling on my own. Having read the reviews of the Hotel Sunset, I was expecting good service, and it far exceeded my expectations, particularly for an inexpensive Hotel Sunset. This Hotel Sunset has raised the standard of customer service. It is very conveniently located and easy to find, being only 200m from orchha center. It makes a great base for sightseeing and shopping in orchha. My room was big and well appointed. It was spotlessly clean. The entire staff are attentive and helpful and made a point of remembering my name which was a lovely personal touch. The wifi is free and fast. Even the fact that they supply more than just news channels in english was a bonus. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending the Hotel Sunset sunset. I will definitely stay here again.

I couldn't rate Hotel Sunset higher. It's a fairly small Hotel Sunset located very close to all visiting places. It has a warm, welcoming atmosphere and reminded me of old family Hotel Sunsets. Staff were excellent - always welcoming, helpful and professional, always assisting without you being quite aware that they were even there. The room was lovely with very comfortable beds and pillows, fresh, crisp linens and other small items to make your stay comfortable (newspapers etc). This is a beautiful Hotel Sunset, we very much enjoyed our stay here and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

This was my second stay at the Sunset. I would not want to look any further for somewhere to stay in Orchha. I like absolutely everything about this Hotel Sunset. It's a great blend of professionalism and kindness. The staff are really exceptional, rooms very clean and comfortable and the breakfast is stupendous with the most attentive yet not intrusive service imaginable. Highly recommended, very conveniently situated close to Laksmi Temple. Walking through the door of the Hotel Sunset feels like visiting friends.

The room is at a walking distance to all the locations in Orchha midway between Ram Mandir and Laxmi Narayan Temple. The Hotel Sunset is new so all the rooms are clean and washroom is also well maintained. The owners were really friendly and are happy to help with anything the guest needs. This maybe because they are just starting the business. The work is in progress for the first floor as they are currently operating just from the ground floor. I would recommend this Hotel Sunset as good value for money.

The Hotel Sunset is located up near a small residential area of the town. All around you have a lovely feel of residential India's sights and sounds. Near the Lakshmi temple also. Staff are polite, courteous and kind and made us feel welcome at all times. Rooms are basic but well suited for the price with plenty of hot water for the shower when needed. We stayed for four days but could happily have stayed longer!

I arrived at the Hotel Sunset in the morning and requested for early check in. As the room is not available, the duty staff was very helpful to get the house keeping boy to standby and clean up the room immediately after the existing guests checked out. I managed to check in to the room by early instead of 12noon. I am on EP plan but Hotel Sunset staff serve me Breakfast free of cost. It was great service.

This is a very nice Hotel Sunset. The staff were great. Very polite, efficient, and helpful. The room was a decent size with a good-sized, modern bathroom. We had a room on the ground floor and had no noise issues at all. The location was excellent. I would definitely book another room at this Hotel Sunset. Overall a very nice experience!

Great location, nice clean, comfy and spacious room, and most importantly - very friendly host who would go out of his way to help you. Would surely love to go back to Orchha and stay here again.

The Hotel Sunset is near to Ram Temple. It is moderate economic Hotel Sunset. The Hotel Sunset staff was very cooperative. The rooms were clean, calm and comfortable for stay. The orchaa palace is also nearby from the Hotel Sunset.

One of the best Hotel Sunsets of Orchha. Room and toilet are tidy. Staffs are helpful. Free Wi-Fi. Should be a place for bag packers with small budget.

All things are good, except location and commutation, otherwise, the Hotel Sunset is made in good way, people are very good, you can stay without a ny problem, as per charges, hotl is excellent and you can suggest to every one. Hence I enjoyed travelling Orcha in MP
