Hotel Surag Residency

I stayed in this Hotel Surag Residency for a day when I went to attend an interview. It is a new Hotel Surag Residency and rooms are pretty much in good shape and it is nowhere less than a 2-star Hotel Surag Residency. A complimentary south Indian breakfast was provided (Idly, Uthappam, Pongal, and Vada) and the best part is it is UNLIMITED. I totally enjoyed my stay here. Pros: 24-Hr check-in and management allowed me to stay for 3more hours, Close to highway. Cons: Lack of budget dining facilities around the Hotel Surag Residency. These guys did not have any as such.

Room staff are really supportive in making our stay as a comfortable one. I had stayed in different Hotel Surag Residencys in Trichy but this stands out uniquely from them for the price they are providing. If you want a budget stay for friends and family go for this Hotel Surag Residency. Only negative about this Hotel Surag Residency is its location. If you have a vehicle with you then it is a good Hotel Surag Residency, but without one you have to reach for auto or taxi to access main areas of Trichy

Breakfast is good, but other than that no major restaurants are nearby, so if the Surag have separate Hotel Surag Residency to cater the need of people staying it would be of great help. I traveled for my meeting with clients in Thanjavur, while coming I was late at 11pm, by the time their restaurant is closed. At least they should keep soft drinks and some bakery items 24 hours open. Please do this as this will help many visitors.

Location little far from the main place, but it is convenient for shopping. Not much Hotel Surag Residencys near by for veg people. Room service is excellent.
It was nice to stay in the Hotel Surag Residency, worth for the what we pay. Only concern is restaurant is not attached to the Hotel Surag Residency. But room service is very good, they respond very quickly. Overall worth for the money we paid.

The Hotel Surag Residency is away from the buzzing city and we can have calm and quite atmosphere. However, there are no shops or establishments nearby for any emergency and for tea/snacks lunch etc ., we have to either depend on the Hotel Surag Residency or travel quite a distance which is a botheration. The breakfast served is very average and not sumptuous. Overall ideal only for a overnight stay.

We had stayed here for one day. Our plan was to visit Sri Rangam Temple. So was searching for Hotel Surag Residencys which will give 24 hrs check in check out time. This was perfect pick. Room was very neat and clean. Value for money. But the morning complimentary breakfast given by Hotel Surag Residency was not at all good as they bring it from outside. Can improve on this.

Hotel is a simple one with nice basic facilities. Room was neat and clean with fully functional ac, geyser and TV with all Tamil channels (If you are not a Tamil speaker, then TV might not be worthwhile). Breakfast consists of idly, dosa, pongal and a single wada (they are very strict about the single wada). Staff is courteous and helpful. Overall - value for money.

Hotel locates near Chennai bye pass road. Staff are very friendly. 24hrs check out from the time you check-in. Break fast was OK not so yummy. They are providing free WiFi. Hotel Maintenance was good. Earlier I stayed at Alam residency. Surag is better than Alam Residency when compared to Comfort, Size of the room, Facilities and Mainly service.

The stay was really good. All the staff were really good and behaved well. Foo was good and room was neat and clean.

Comfortable stay. The room was slightly cramped for space as we were a family of four.

Cleanliness is ok. Breakfast services needs improvement, especially the timings.

Location of the Hotel Surag Residency is very isolated, no shops or Hotel Surag Residencys nearby.

Okay good stay but compact rooms . Food from outside was served . Location is good very near to highway .

Overall experience was good. Room service was little slow. Very neat and clean rooms. Hot water was coming and bathroom was clean. Morning compliment ary Tiffin was good. However the quantity was limited.

Located in the city center and the best thing is the free breakfast.

Ideal location for visiting many temples and very close to national highway.
