Hotel Surya, Nedumangad

I stayed there for one night. The app said free Wi-Fi were included, but when I asked for the Wi-Fi password, they said it doesn’t work in the room and I’d have to come downstairs to use it. Even downstairs, it wasn’t working. I was not able to work properly because of that.

It was a pleasant experience with the hotel. hassle-free check-in, neat room, parking place. located around town centre.

Hygiene was ok but not worth for the money paid

Staff was co-operative rates for food was not too much, pleasant stay.

The room was well maintained with good amenities.

Overall, it was fine. The location was good as it was close to Nedumangad bus stop. There were shops and eateries around. The main problem was due to the mosquitoes. The windows do not have mosquito nets and at night it was terribly bad situation. Hence I give average rating.

I came to Nedumangad for my interview at the IIST and therefore needed a place to stay. My room at the hotel had some spider webs near the windows and the door. TV is CRT instead of a flat screen one. The flush of the commode and the taps for bathing have slow flow rate so almost nothing really flushes away.
