Hotel Sweekar Residency

The place seems like an old british home or something. Looks good from the outside. We checked in at 2 at midnight and even then the caretaker came just in time we had an extra person and he upgraded us to a bigger room which was really nice of him. Everything was clean and organised. The bed linen and pillow covers were clean. The blanket was a bit on the older side which had some sort of dust which triggered my panic asthma. I think it was not dust from outside and was some sort of issue with the wool. Toilet was indian type and was very clean. They had hot water in the morning. Overall experience was very good.

Warm water is available in tap in the morning But separate warm water in bucket is always provided whenever required. Food you can order in online if you are tired after a long tour. A healthy food will be served in your door, if you have online food partners in your smartphone. Rooms are adjusted with the weather and comfortable night stay we spent in the Hotel Sweekar Residency. A home-like property at an affordable stay. Here are my likes and dislikes. Likes- friendly caretakers who are always willing to help when needed. Walkable distance from Ooty bus stand(if by auto don't pay more than 50). Noise or pollution-free area. Looks like a big bungalow with individual small houses and balcony or sit-outs available swiggy or zomato is allowed. Dislikes - Car parking may be a little tough during weekends. Roads may be slippery during rainy times. Rooms are little bit small and old fashioned TVs. Lighting inside rooms to be replaced with led's.

First of all, it is at a walkable distance from the bust stand and the railway station, so it is very convenient. The place is clean and the caretaker was just a call away. We called him up whenever we needed anything, and he was at the door within 5 mins. Be it drinking water, hot water, plates, anything, the promptness in the services provided was amazing. The room itself was spacious for the three of us, the washroom was clean, and fresh blankets were provided to us. At this price range, i would definitely recommend this to people travel-ling in a group.

It's amazing when you get homely atmosphere while staying outside. Isn't it? Hotel Sweekar Residency sweekar residency provided us such homely atmosphere during our stay in ooty. It's walkable distant location, extension of helping hand before and during our stay was amazing particularly from the hosts end. Make my trip really fulfilled our all needs. Best Hotel Sweekar Residency with best price. Owner is very good and he will communicate with everyone one about their plans in ooty and suggest how can they plan their trip. Servent Ramesh is a good guy and can help you for early check-in's and late checkouts (he will allow you to keep all your luggage safely in his room and locks his room). Hot water is available from morning 7:30 as Ramesh wokes at this time 😀

The stay is situated in a calm green atmosphere. The Hotel Sweekar Residency looks more like a cozy homestay with rustic rooms. Necessary amenities are provided in room and on request. The caretaker gives you warm staycation time and gives suggestions regarding places to visit and other queries. All places are within short distance from the stay. Would definitely come back.

Stay was good for the money, budget stay. Spacious, old building but lot of open space to breath fresh air. Only con is hot water is time limited, morning : 6-8:30 am and evening: 7-9 pm approximately. Don't expect too much, outside food is allowed. Within the room, we get cupboard (thriple room setup only, bedsheet, drinking water (outside room, dustbin provided.
