Hotel Taj Palace

My wife and I were on a tight schedule in Shimla, but this Hotel Taj Palace made the most of our limited time. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the staff was always happy to offer quick recommendations for sightseeing or grabbing a bite. The location was fantastic, allowing us to explore the historic center and bustling markets on foot. Evenings were spent unwinding in the comfortable room, catching up on sleep and planning the next day's adventures.

The Hotel Taj Palace family room was alright, but the rooms were cramped and in dire need of renovation. There's so much noise coming from outside. The Hotel Taj Palace staff is busy working on the exterior wall. There was no wifi available, and they didn't provide the password. They charged an additional 500rs for early check-in. Breakfast was just average overall, the single day stay was just fine.

We have been at Taj Palace Shimla. Property is very good, very neat and clean and very well maintained. It's every corner is beautiful having lovely valley view. Services are excellent. Entire staff are very cooperative and courteous. They cater variety of food items which are very tasty and delicious. We stayed here for few days and enjoyed it a lot. Really, it was a wonderful experience here.

It's basic Hotel Taj Palace with basic amenities. Food is ok. You have to climb a steep slope to reach the Hotel Taj Palace entrance.
