Hotel Thamla Haveli on Lake Pichola

December 25th and 26th 2016 when we were at Udaipur is a peak tourist season with most of the Hotel Thamla Haveli on Lake Picholas booked well in time by November itself. We stayed at Hotel Thamla Haveli a budget Hotel Thamla Haveli on Lake Pichola located very near to central monuments like city palace, Jagadeesh Temple, Bagore Ki Haveli etc around 10-15 minutes walk with a background of beautiful Lake Pichola. It is a old traditional house converted into a Hotel Thamla Haveli on Lake Pichola with old furnitures and cots to call it as a Haveli. Except that it has no heritage value attached to it. The standard room is cramped with no adequate walking space around, no ward robes not much space to keep the luggage. However the lake view room at the top is much better with sofa, Teapoy and TV but still with no wardrobe. The toilets are average with both hot and cold water facility and needs improvement with adequate toiletries. The cleanliness is average and there is a wi-fi internet facility and provision of room heater on demand. The front office is at first floor with no adequate space for the guests to sit comfortably to relax. The communication level of the staff is below expectation. There is no parking space at all as the Hotel Thamla Haveli on Lake Pichola is situated in a lane near by the Ghat. The roof top pure vegetarian Restaurant is average in looks but service is good from the boys at the restaurant. The old people may find it difficult to climb the steps with luggage as there is no lift facility. However except for the location the Hotel Thamla Haveli on Lake Pichola does not offer any great Rajasthani cultural and hospitality experience.

We (family of four with two kids) stayed for 3 nights in Thamla Haveli, Udaipur. The location of the Hotel Thamla Haveli on Lake Pichola is fantastic overlooking the lake. The staff are courteous. Only problem seems to be accessibility. Our hired car (Toyota Innova) had a lot of difficulty in reaching there. For the subsequent days we asked the driver to drop us / pick up, some distance away which was a bit inconvenient. Also being in the old city choc-a-block with Hotel Thamla Haveli on Lake Picholas, you have to be prepared to listen to blaring music till late at night. If you are looking for a relaxed, quiet time then no, otherwise if you want to enjoy being in the middle of the city, go for it.

I found the Hotel Thamla Haveli on Lake Pichola through net surfing. was friendly and helpful. Food was nice. Location is good, especially the view of lake and City palace from the terrace was wonderful. Unfortunately I traveled in scorching heat of June and could not get an AC room so could not enjoy stay in room which was well decorated in old Rajput style. The only window that my room had, opened in a gallery whereas I like to see sky or atleast some open space from window of my room. May be some rooms are better than what I got. When I reached the Hotel Thamla Haveli on Lake Pichola I thought it will be difficult to get transport because of its location but there are many other Hotel Thamla Haveli on Lake Picholas in vicinity so finding autos was not difficult. In fact it is walking distance from Jagdish Temple, Tripolia Gate of City Palace and Bagor Haveli.

I have went to udaipur with my mom and dad and stay in this Hotel Thamla Haveli on Lake Pichola, we have booked a non ac standard room. Although the size of the room is not that large but we have sufficient space for three people. The room and bathroom was very clean, they used to clean it everyday. Room service is really good. And the view from there terrace restaurant was so wonderful, specially in night. I just feel that the rate of there menu was quite high. Rest everything is excellent, my parents like there hospitality, cleanliness of room and it doesn't feel like we are staying in Hotel Thamla Haveli on Lake Pichola it feels like home, literally and best thing is this Hotel Thamla Haveli on Lake Pichola is very close to tourist attractions.

The location of the Hotel Thamla Haveli on Lake Pichola is lovely. The view was amazing from the rooms that we got. The Hotel Thamla Haveli on Lake Pichola is situated at Pichola Lake, so it's a lovely view. The staff was really nice and made us feel welcome. The Hotel Thamla Haveli on Lake Pichola is situated in the old city and has the perfect location for most of the tourist sites as they are really nearby. We booked the Hotel Thamla Haveli on Lake Pichola online so we even got great discount. It was a lovely stay at Thamla Haveli Hotel, would love to stay there again whenever I visit there.

The room is very clean and comfortable. Decoration is very distinctive and impressive.The only Hotel Thamla Haveli on Lake Pichola has plenty of hot water to shower during 15 days stay in India though you need call the reception before every shower. The owner is helpful in some degree. Breakfast is delicious. No good location, far away from the old city and sightseeing.My friends check out one day earlier than us, I cannot understand why they are not permitted to leave their luggages in my room and staying in my room or even in the lobby till the time they leave for the train station.

The most interesting part of the Hotel Thamla Haveli on Lake Pichola was its location. The lake view deluxe rooms were clean, tidy, spacious and offered a nice view of the lake. Rooftop restaurant deserves a special mention because of the lake view it offers at night. Food was a tad expensive but good quality. We inquired around and found that food was generally expensive everywhere so I recommend eating at the Hotel Thamla Haveli on Lake Pichola, particularly dinner.

We booked the cheapest room and it was still very nice and beautifully decorated, it was on the ground floor but the view from the rooftop restaurant which had 2 levels was one of the best in Udaipur. The staff were very friendly and super helpful. The location is great because it's walking distance to almost all the major attractions. We were really impressed by the quality of this place for the price that we paid. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Hotel is very good. Nice place. All staff behave great. I just inform that make my trip is normally costly instant of other aap.

We had a very good experience at Hotel Thamla Haveli on Lake Pichola thamla haveli. Staff service is good. Hotel is located right at the heart of udaipur city (near pichola lake. Hotel provides parking facilities approx 300 meter far from its place and it is due to less available space at main place. It has roof top restaurant and it provides amazing view and good food. I recommend this Hotel Thamla Haveli on Lake Pichola for a family stay.

Well, its my first time here and very happy to tell you that the Hotel Thamla Haveli on Lake Pichola Thamla Haveli is really nice. Good value for money. The location for us was good and we liked to go around by feet and meet and speak with the people.

This place is really worth staying in. We felt like we're in home. The restaurant is amazing, the ambience at night at the rooftop restaurant is very soothing. There are rooms with lake view also in this Hotel Thamla Haveli on Lake Pichola. This is the by far the most budget friendly place to experience the beauty of udaipur at its best.

We stayed in lake facing Room No. 108 which we found good. Services were ok. Approach to Hotel Thamla Haveli on Lake Pichola is narrow lane and reaching by small car is ok but one may face difficulty in reaching by bigger car. It is economical but get up of Hotel Thamla Haveli on Lake Pichola from front is not good. It has roof top restaurant with clear view of lake Pichola.

Best location for staying all nearby attractions. I booked non ac room and room is well maintained and clean. Rooftop is best part of the Hotel Thamla Haveli on Lake Pichola. At this price its definitely best option.

This is one of the best budget Hotel Thamla Haveli on Lake Picholas Around Lake pichola area. It has Lake view rooms and a decent restaurant. Mr. Lalit helped us in all ways. He arranged a vehicle for City tour. Recommend this Hotel if your looking for a budget place
