Hotel Thangavilas Inn

The rooms were spacious and was easily able to accommodate a extra cot. The staff at the reception were very friendly and helpful, they arranged for a driver with cab and guided us for the temple visits. Couple of improvements to be made 1. The cot had wheels and they would keep moving, so you cannot be seated with your back to the wall as the cots will keep moving due to the wheels. Very bad design. 2. The restaurant is open only post 7:30, they do not even serve coffee in the mornings, that is very disappointing esp for people who want to have an early start to visit temples. 3. The quality of food and service at the restaurant was not great, very spicy and oily.

I have visited kumbakonam and took meals in the Hotel Thangavilas Inn murari. The food was very good. I thought when opportunity comes i have to stay in this Hotel Thangavilas Inn. I booked through make my trip. The thangavilas inn rooms are spacious. Neat and clean. Well maintained. Staff are kind and courteous. But no compliment breakfast. But stay in the Hotel Thangavilas Inn is fine. Vehicle parking place is sufficient. Nice stay.

Clean room, good parking space, away from noise pollution, closer to shopping, restaurant attached. Did not use room service so cannot comment. Restaurant food was no issue. Except for a defective flush, the washroom was ok. Could not get enough hot water before 5 am. But no issue on hot water after 5 am. Hump near the entry gate was pathetic. High possibility that it will touch your vehicle chassis. This needs to be rectified.

Although stay in thangavilas inn was comfortable, 2 things i have to bring to your notice. The lock in the door was not functioning properly. Likewise, the flush in washroom was not operative. The concerned should ensure before letting the room, all the basic things are operating properly.

The Hotel Thangavilas Inn is centrally located, very spacious, clean and with basic amenities. It ah s a vegrestaurant next, kfc adjacent and other shops. Autos and taxis are easily available. Y he staff is courteous and we had a pleasant stay.

The location of the Hotel Thangavilas Inn is in prime junction. The rooms are spacious, the restaurant attached to the Hotel Thangavilas Inn is very nice, good and tasty. Paint are all pealed in the walls. Cleanliness has to be increased.

Stay was comfortable. Room was spacious. Hot water was always available. Ample space for car park. Overall it was good.

Location and amenities are very good. Breakfast time starts at 07:30 only, which is not suitable. Room service is good but to be improved. Food is tasty and good.

We use to stayed here for than 20 times. But this trip the quality of service is not good. Rooms not maintain as used to be. We changed even the room in the midnight for poor air-conditioning and odor in the noon.

Spacious room size. It’s a decent place to stay. Better room service. Rooms are clean. But for its price they can do little better. We faced only issue with hot water. Overall recommended to stay as a family and enjoy your visit.
