We booked two rooms here, and honestly, it was pretty disappointing. The rooms at the back had a strong drainage smell — it was so bad we could barely breathe. We asked to move to the front side just to get some fresh air. Definitely not what I’d expect from a 4-star hotel. The location isn’t great either. Breakfast was okay, nothing special. The bathroom was a mess — no shower curtain or divider, so after a shower, the whole floor (and toilet area) stayed wet all day. Overall, I’d say this is more like a 2.5-star hotel, not a 4-star.

Everything about this property is wonderful, starting from welcome, cleanliness, hospitality, ambiance, and customer delight. The only problem is waiting time for buffet food refill. I found everyone in the restaurant working very hard to run and manage the crowd except for the floor manager. I found him to be a little rude and unprofessional.

We had a very good stay at Dewan. The staff is very friendly and helpful for all the small details. Would recommend to all travelling to Srinagar

My stay at Hotel Dewan was pleasant and comfortable. The rooms were clean and well-maintained. However, I would suggest improving the room lighting — having an option for bright white light in addition to the existing light would make the stay even more comfortable. Overall, a good experience and great hospitality😊

Room service is not fast and need to remind them repeatedly. Breakfast has no variety and everyday almost the same menu.I had to wait long time for dishes also😀😀

I had a wonderful stay in the property which displays rich Kashmiri heritage and is manned by very welcoming and accommodating staff be it at reception or in the restaurant. I ll recommend taking the meal included plan to make the most of your stay here.
